Thanks JLeuze. In case it’s of use to anyone else – It was TinyMCE Advanced that caused a conflict. I have removed it as I didn’t really need it any more. not sure what you’d do if you did still need it though?
Tektek.. what was the solution? I have the same problem only your last reply wasn’t very descriptive.
What does this mean?
Is was a javascripting in the heading of the back-end that disables all the others scripts
And what did you do to resolve it? Was it in a plugin? or the wp admin? or the pluigin??

In reply to: [File Gallery] [Plugin: File Gallery] Image Sizesthanks aesque – I found your help file in the plugin files and it told me how to do custom themes for the plugin. This worked a treat.

I’m getting the ie problem with the simple template too – the loading.gif just hangs when I click and I don’t get the larger image apeparing on the lhs.Interestingly this dones’t happen on your site… BUT i’ve noticed you’re using 1.7-RC10 on your site whereas the one to download on WP is 1.6.5.6
Should I be using a newer version? Where do I get it?
thanks

In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] [Plugin: Twitter Widget Pro] Tweets not updating – bugI’ve had to deactivate this plugin as I cna’t get it to work and have decided to use twitter’s own widget rather than rely on a plugin. it doesn’t have some of the nice features that this plugin has but it’s pretty much the same.
Go here to try it outForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] [Plugin: Twitter Widget Pro] Tweets not updating – bugI did as you suggest and changed the url in my wp-twitter-widget.php code line 185 to http (not https) and I then get the “no tweets” message i.e. it works the opposite way round for me??
My problem isn’t that I’m not getting tweets, it’s that I’m not getting any updated tweets and the widget is stuck on whatever day i set the number of tweets.
Any suggestions? This site is meant to be going live tomorrown!
thanks in advance

In reply to: Custom menu missing on search page.ok i found out the answer. Basically for me it’s the Search Everything plugin that is messing with my main menu. If I select a category to be excluded from search then the menu disapperas. If i don’t have any categories excluded then the menu re-appears.

In reply to: [Search Everything] No results, no menuhi tommcgee. I’m using this plugin with wp 3.2.1 and it is giving me a nice list of results, with titles, links and summaries. I wonder why you’re not getting these?
I’ve had the problem of it killing the main menu but have discovered that if I don’t eclude any categories, then the menu returns. Maybe you can try that?
I could post up my search.php page if that would help as my version is working ok with the plugin?

In reply to: Custom menu missing on search page.in answer to arstropica above, I have two custom post types that are used solely for the homepage (one is being made by a plugin, the other I have added myself).

In reply to: Custom menu missing on search page.i know this is an old post but I’m having exactly the same problem…
menu fine everywhere except the search results page where it gets as far as<div class="menu-main-menu-container"><ul id="menu-main-menu" class="menu"></ul></div>
but no further.Strangest thing for me is that this works fine on my localhost version but is not working on the live site.
Anyone got ANY ideas on how to fix it? Or what tests to do??
thanks
