In reply to: [WP eCommerce] [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Reset Checkout FieldsLee you are so awesome – but if I do what you said, I’ll lose the products we’ve already entered, categories, settings, etc.
I don’t understand why wp e-commerce has a video saying you can move those fields around.
Do you think we should swallow the $40 and switch to a better cart?

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Reset Checkout FieldsI love the way this plugin looks on the website. It’s exactly what my client wanted and easy enough for him to add his own products.
According to the video at GetShopped.org you can move the checkout fields around, even delete the ones you don’t want.
So, I moved them around and now it doesn’t work! I’ve placed the fields back where they were and it looks fine in store settings but on the live site things are still out of order and transactions are not processing.
Is there any way to set it back to the original default settings?
Please please please help me soon!
Leewillis77 – you are a God! I think this will work.
But now I’ve created another problem which I need to fix to properly test.

In reply to: wp e-commerce how to remove sidebar from product description pageHi there,
I think I can answer your question. Usually sidebars are controlled in your theme.
Go to Edit Products Page.
On the right hand side look for Page Attributes.
Where it says Template, see if you have a choice other than Default Template, i.e., One Column. If so click it.
If you don’t see a Page Attributes box, at the top of your WordPress Dashboard, click on Screen Options and check the Page Attributes box.
It’s always possible your theme does not offer alternate page layouts.
Good luck!

In reply to: [IDB Ecommerce (wpStoreCart 5)] [Plugin: wpStoreCart] Where to go for SupportInstead of an RSS feed for posts, can I link the rss to our products (classes & seminars)? What would be the code for that?

In reply to: Remove page link but keep in menu (painter theme)Here is what I would do. Make a page for the main header and use it to build links and offer visitors another way to find info.
For instance, let’s say the main header is Contact and your subheaders are Telephone, Email, Map. On the Contact page type this:
You can reach us by telephone (link to the telephone page), email (link to the email page) or visit us in person (link to map page).
Link building is a great strategy for SEO and it’s always helpful to offer your site visitors more than one way to find the information they need.
