I will try that, thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for responding! After much trial and error, it came down to a usability issue. I’m hoping this will help someone else who runs into this.
It was simply that I expected a certain behavior once my cursor was in the field: it was blinking the way it should but the field already had an URL in it. I assumed the field would either go blank once my cursor was in the field or that I would be able to highlight the field and delete the default URL already in it. It didn’t do either of those things.
It was only when I accidentally hit the space bar that the field went blank, and I was able to enter the new URL. However because there was that extra space there, the field wasn’t reading the URL properly so it would revert back to the default URL. Simply backspacing that extra space out fixed the issue.
I don’t know if others have the same experience but in case they do, I hope this helps.

thanks for the tip. I tried your suggestions: exported config, reset plugin, exclude super admin, started over. Still the same issue. I’ve even updated to the latest plugin version w/ 3.3.1. It’s very frustrating since I’m running this on a CMS setup w/ over 250 people as contributors. I really need to hide certain fields!
Anyone else succeed?

In reply to: Child taxonomies missing from edit-tags.php Admin screenLooks like my issue was with the Role Scoper plugin. I deactivated it – child taxonomies showed up – then reactivated. Child terms are still there.

In reply to: Child taxonomies missing from edit-tags.php Admin screenI am having the same issue except I have a couple of custom taxonomies, both hierarchical – it’s only effecting one of the taxonomies. Were you able to resolve this? I just upgraded to 3.2 but I don’t think that’s the issue since it looks like you’re using 3.1
