Hi @t-p thanks for the response. I’ve already looked at that article, but it says I already have a 512Mb upload limit and my image is only 9Mb but it still won’t upload.

Any other ideas for why this may be the case?

Ok I see, thanks. The custom post block seems to be the default block on the new post template, is there a way to change this to the gallery block through the settings?

I run a multi-author site and so want to make the template ready to use for the authors, rather than having to change the block type manually themselves.

Apologies for the late response. Unfortunately not; I run a multi-author blogging website and so need the ability to allow multiple users to be able to create their own maps in their blogs of the destinations they’ve visited, which the Map block doesn’t provide as far as I know.

I want to now change the redirect to go to a specific page https://www.troventrip.com/my-blogs rather than the homepage, do you know how I would do that please? I’ve tried replacing the get_home_url with a few different things but none of them work.

Update 2: I’ve installed wpDiscuz and this seems to have resolved the issue. Strange issue, but it’s now working ok! I will mark my thread as resolved.

Update: the comments seem to work on new blogs that I post from now, but they don’t appear on past blogs. The site is new and I still haven’t officially launched so I guess I can go back and re-publish the past blogs, but is there a way to back-date the comments enabling?

@champsupertramp Thanks, I’ve already tried playing around with all of those settings and none of them changed anything with my theme. I’ve also been playing around with CSS code this week with no success, but I’ve also been unable to change other things such as colours and font styles on my theme with CSS too. So I’m guessing the theme has some restrictions which may be causing this conflict.

Due to these problems I’ve now found a different theme which is more customisable and also works correctly with UM ,so the User page displays correctly and I don’t have this issue.

If you’re interested for your own sake the theme I was using was BlogZ by GretaThemes
