Maybe some of your invitations were scheduled and they will be sent even if the plugin was deactivated.
Deactivated plugin won’t schedule any new invitations

@benlinders thank you for your message. But it seems this script was added manually (plugin never adds script with comments).`
We can not change any other script if it wasn’t added within plugin.

The latest plugin version (2.5.901) should solve all those edge cases.
