I just narrowed down the issue to a theme library that I’m using, Colorway Theme and templates. Whenever i use one of these as the subsite theme the dashboard of that site is almost inoperative. Badly designed library with many more bugs …Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Is this a malicious pluginHi (@macmanx),
Yes i found the rogue files which is now named, mplugin.php and admin_ips.txt – the code in mplugin.php matched exactly that shown in the link i provided before, so they’ve changed the name of it. I noticed that the admin ips text file listed every ip address i have used to login to my site; i use a VPN so it was quite alarming to see all the IPs listed in this file. I used a plugin called, GOTMLS Anti Malware for WordPress and it seems effective it found the files and quarantined them ready for deletion.Theres a great thread here on WP support about this malicious code here and a blog with in depth info about it including link to GOTMLS download site – its very well documented. Download the FREE version its enough to wipe this malicious code; donate $29 to get core protection too.
Thanks for now, hope this helps someone else
ok and what about the other suggestions – ajax would be a great boost for performance on any website
Thank, that’s great news.
Please keep this great plugin going!cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce] leave site? changes you made may not be saved.Has this been fixed yet?? its NOT fixed in, 5.6.1 as of February 2021 – this is ridiculous. Its happening on one of my MultiSites but only when moving between the ‘Pages’ admin in a subsite – it doesn’t happen on the main site. Everyones mentioning different plugins like Yith, or Woo Products but the problem seems to have been identified already in the Core admin, tinymce. I dont really understand why the WP devs can identify the issue but not fix it???
Thanx (@jetxpert)
It worked for me too!

== UPDATE ==
Hi, Just to update this query – the settings shown in the screenshot actually remove 2FA from the main site (logging in as Network-Administrator) but STILL asks for the 2FA challenge code on ALL the subsites controlled by the same, single Standard Admin!! ?? Crazy? Not sure what’s going on. The plugin doesn’t seem to work well on MultiSites.
Thanks

In reply to: Different Blog-description from main domainHi @ikaring,
Yes i know that – Please read the question … how do you set/update the blog-description used for new subsites to be different from the primary-site blog-description. Getting any blog-description is quite straight-forward but ‘setting’ the blog-description only sets it for BOTH primary-site AND subsites.

In reply to: Global Navigation BAR for Multisite NetworkHi,
Am i right in my understanding of your issue? – you want a navbar in the public front-end of your site with links to all your subsites? If so you dont need a plugin for this. Just create a standard WordPress menu and create links (the urls) of each subsite home page. You can put them all under one parent navbar link link i.e.Home Sites Blog Articles Blah |_______ url to subsite one |_______ url to subsite two |_______ url to subsite three |_______ etc ...
Then you just decide the location of the new menu item. Or have i mis-understood??

In reply to: MultisiteHi
Did you setup wildcard domains in your CPanel? you’ll need to do this to ensure any subsite is recognised as a subdomain of,marbasket.com
Your wild card should look like this:
*.marbasket.comAlso noticed in your settings:
define(‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘www.marbasket.com’);
You may not need the ‘www’ part – though it may be optionForum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Change multisites contentHi,
Without the ‘paid’ version of a plugin that supports MU, as you say, its a manual job. You’ll need to install the same theme on A and copy the plugins over; the db data is another thing. Your better off using the WP built-in Export option which will export a single site out of a multisite. Its not as fancy as a plugin but at least youll get the db data which is the where the crucial content is in a CMSForum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: multiple/single user siteHi
Its not a s difficult as you think, many duplicator plugins allow you to move a multisite subsite blog to a single standalone installation but beware this type of functionality is usually beyond the ‘FREE’ version of these plugins. The good thing is that the Primary site is always blog #1, site #1 so you can use the export feature of WP and a bit of care. BACKUP THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION (INC DB) FIRST!! – i can’t stress enough …See this link for a step by step guide
