In reply to: Latest WordPress Update Caused Hero Image ProblemJust as I received your comment, I was checking out my CSS. You’re right. It was set at 80%. (I wonder why I ever did that in the first place.) All is well now.
Thank you for your time. Have a nice weekend. ??

In reply to: Latest WordPress Update Caused Hero Image ProblemThank you for trying, unfortunately, that didn’t work.
(I do use the inspector, by the way, but that wouldn’t tell me how to solve this problem, that’s why I came to the forum.)
Hopefully, someone will have the answer.

In reply to: Site Title Won’t BudgeI will have to enter a new ticket at some point. My client wants me to take the site offline again.

In reply to: Site Title Won’t BudgeI’m back online now. I’d appreciate help.
Besides the site-title problem, I’d also like to ask why the child submenu under Upcoming Event, called NEXT EVENT will not change colors on hover.

In reply to: Site Title Won’t BudgeI have to take my site off-line. So I probably can’t receive help now. ??

In reply to: Recent Posts Widget Stopped WorkingI am going to withdraw this request for help because I’m doing more independent research into the situation. I deactivated Jetpack and re-activated, and things ‘seem’ to be working fine for now. I need to watch this for a while longer.

In reply to: Recent Posts Widget Stopped WorkingInexplicably, the Recent Posts feature worked today, but I’m not sure how. I had used another category (Updates), not the one meant to post to the home page (Announcements). ????
However, the emails have not been sent to subscribers nor the count of emails sent to us.
I also discovered the Campaign Sent email came from the Email Subscriber & Newsletter plugin. we stopped using it to sign people up because of spam, but we still have those subscribers.
Perhaps, the two programs are conflicting, Jetpack and Email Subscribers, although they worked together before?

In reply to: HTTP ErrorThat’s beyond my skill level. I’m a designer not a developer. I’m going back to the host for now and will check in a bit later. (I’m also traveling today, so it might be tomorrow.) Thanks for your help so far.

In reply to: HTTP ErrorI did both of those yesterday. I can chat with the host again, but we upgraded our plan recently, so I doubt seriously we are out of space after only a few months. We only upload mp3s once a month.

In reply to: HTTP ErrorThank you for responding. None of those issues is the case. The file size is about the same as we always load. The file name format is the same as always, and the host checked if there was anything host related, which I believe #3 would be. ??

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Comments ShowingThank you for referring my issue to the developer. In the meantime, we will have to find another solution for our Forum.:(

In reply to: [Unite] CSS is No Longer WorkingNo, that is not what I needed. However, the theme developer has now answered my question. Thank you for trying to help.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Invalid Site KeyIronically, I just found the solution to the problem. I say ironically, because I also just paid for help from you guys. I have submitted a refund request, and I hope it will be honored.
The problem was that I different site keys on your page and another set on the WP Security and Firewall page. When I corrected that, everything worked fine.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Invalid Site KeyThank you for responding. I do not feel comfortable doing any of that. I’m afraid I’ll break the site. I have just paid for help. Perhaps, you or someone else more knowledgeable can help.
I hope we won’t have to delete the Membership Plugin. It’s working fine on another site I work on.
Thank you. That was very helpful to know.
I’m unable to completely block XMLRPC because I use Jetpack, but that’s okay. Good to know, we’re still safe despite these attacks.
