In that case I must have been unclear in my first post. I wish to remove the current footer credits. Trying the method suggested above dis not work for me. Any other suggestions?

Hi. I’m using the free Contango theme for a site, and I’d like to make a custom footer. First of all, I’d like to remove the current footer with the copyright and credits. I tried the suggestion above, but it doesn’t change anything. I tried making a plugin, and I tried inserting it in funcitions.php (contango theme). No luck.

Any suggestions?

I used this thread to set up a WP site showing only category 1 on front page, and linking to other categories. But now, after upgrading to WP 2.0.3. Anybody know anything about this??
