I know that I should use WP_Query to pull items from DB; I hoped that I could dynamically update the slider portfolio layout with a related items list, but clearly that’s not possible as the shortcode takes no extra parameters, just as you explained me.

Visual Portfolio comes with a popup / lightbox option, so you don’t actually need a third party plugin.

To activate the Popup option, just go to the Portfolio Layout settings, find the Items Click Action panel and choose Popup Gallery from the dropdown menu.

Hello again nK,

I’ve updated the plugin, and set the portfolio slug to “works” from the plugin settings page; it looks like the change breaks something in the pagination.

I’ve tried all of the pagination options and the result is that the loading never ends, while the items thumbnails go grey and can’t be clicked.

I’ve switched back to “portfolio” slug and everything goes back to normal.

Did I miss something?
