  • Hi there,
I noticed a problem regarding the XHTML validation.
My wp Blog is fine and when I validate the code at WC3 Markup Validation Service I get an error duw to the audioplayer wp plugin and the way the code is set, ie, the way the plugin inserts the html code in my blog.
    here is my blog: https://www.tux-gill.pt

If you go at the page bottom and click on XHTML validation, you will be redirected to WC3 validation service and you will notice the error report.
If I eliminate the post with the audio player, the validation report no errors.

Is it possible to rewrite the code in a way that is valid for XHTML 1.0 Strict?

    Thank you

    Diogo

Hello Michael, thanks you. The problem was solved. I followed the instructions posted by Thomas.

    here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/203169

“Since I still had FTP access I tried the following:

    1. via ftp rename “wp-content” > “plugins” to “1.plugins”
    2. create new dir “plugins”
    3. login to wp (which now worked for me)
    4. via ftp remove empty “plugins” created in step 2
    5. and rename “1.plugins” back to “plugins”

For me this solved the problem.”

I didn’t had the chance to try your solution, but thank you anyway.
