New questions
1) is there a way to set up here (or any wordpress blog) to receive email notifications of new posts in the blog like you can on a forum?
2) what do you think of the animated header. just curious on your opinion. it has 20 or so rotating political quotes.

Jonimueller – thank you for your comments. I was asking for people to review and comment, but I hate the standard and often overused “Please check out my site”, so I added a little info and a link to the blog. Thanks again.

I have a few questions on your feedback. I am new to wordpress so still figuring everything out

1)you said “More lineheight between paragraphs to aid in readability/scanability.” – where on the admin side do i adjust that?
2) you said “On your PAGE template, remove reference or call to the comments template. That way it won’t say “Comments closed.” I think it makes the pages look cleaner and less bloggy.” – I agree 100% and have been trying to figure out how to do this. Can you please advise where I can make the change you suggest.

Also, we added a contact us form today. Looks good so far, but same problem as #2 above.

I also have just started a political themed blog, so good luck with yours. Here is the feedback i have on your site, since you asked for it
1) it seems way to wide and there is so much going on, that I sometimes found it distracting from your actual post
2) I am not sure how I feel about your picture being there. I am going to your site to see your posts, not your face.
3) I would consider finding one of the custom themes that are out there….and then customizing it more. We designed a logo and then animated the top banner to give it ia little uniqueness. You can do that also.
