yes the parse error started coming later in the night.. before that there was nothing at all.. the site was just “blank”.

I had enabled the wrong child theme while copying customizr folder into my directory.. after that I kept trying to enable the other child theme but i could just not access the admin panel. now i have removed the custchild theme & enabled the actual child theme and it is working fine.

I tried reinstalling it but each time it failed at one particular point (copying some language file) .. so I copied the entire folder unzipped elsewhere into this folder, tried to make the child theme active and don’t know what happened, now my site’s not opening at all. Even the wordpress admin panel is not opening now!

To revert this, i again removed that folder from themes directory, however my site/wordpress admin area is still not opening for some reason.

Pls help! I feel I have changed something very basic

yes, I hereby doubly confirm that no posts have been imported so far. ?? not even one. there is nothing in the trash either. only 1 personal post in drafts.

nope. I have tried various things but it is not working.

I’m trying to import images since 12 aug 2012 … but that shdnt be an issue since the plugin allows pics from 2010 onwards

I think the easiest way to do what I want would be to change all my post types to “standard” post.. through PHPmyadmin or something.. via a single SQL query

aah..ok, I dont know css as such ..can just fiddle around with basic WP/HTML cos I have a software coding background :p

there’s no title of tweet. though comments will be there. in this case they are @replies fetched from twitter and posted as comments.

and yes, they are real posts in the WP Database. the comments (@replies) are in the comments table in the WP database ?? and they come for approval like typical WP comments

I’m using “twitter tools” plugin to do this. it used to be a very good plugin (with options to publish a daily digest of tweets – which was my chosen option back then) .. then 2-3 yrs back, it broke after the developer sort of stopped working on it and now it puts every single tweet as a post :\ Still I’m making do with it, even though NOW twitter provides an archives of all one’s tweets as well.

Have explored other plugins to do the same thing, but there seems to be none..

and these posts are supposed to have comments (which show twitter replies of other people) .. cant see comments here.. I guess “Status” type doesnt have any?
