I’m sorry to trouble you but it appears the solution to my problem was temporary.

The URLs for my site’s categories now show as https://two47news.com/product-category/categoryname/ E.g. https://two47news.com/product-category/tips/

However, I noticed that typing the following directly on the https://two47news.com/tips/ does not result in a 404.

That is the path I prefer or the site. Do you have any suggestions on what to do to solve the problem?

This problem has been solved. I would have deleted the thread but it seems I can’t do that or at least can’t find the deleted button, so I’ve decided to paste the thread for the solution, which is accessible via this link:
