In reply to: [NextGEN Gallery Search] userside gallery searchYeah, would like to see a user side search, too! Would be great !
Hi,
I resolved the problem by selecting a different style sheet in NextGen. I received an error, that the selected CSS file was not present and I selected the default one and saved this setting. This solved the problem.
Hi Francois,
this didn’t help me. I reverted back to version 1.3.1 and all connections are there and everything works fine. I also tried 1.4.1 but that didn’t solve the problem.
My p2p_register_connection_type: https://pastebin.com/jcHiaUtX
And the query I use: https://pastebin.com/AihZHr4U
@ihuman – I already updated to version 1.4.1, no change.
The connections are in the database (as far as I can tell), but they don’t appear in the admin box and the frontend code gives me the error above.
I read some threads where this happened in case the connected_type wasn’t set and the system genrated a hash value. But I have set the connected_type and the connections in the database show the correct value in p2p_type column.
I checked a few things, my connected_type is set correctrly and the column ‘p2p_type’ shows the correct name.

I think the main problem is like smajda said, there’s so many places to go for information. This is very confusing for new developers and users. I would like to see the informations more centralized, like one big forum. In IRC you have the problem with differnet timezones, forums are much more appropriate in my opinion. These forums must be moderated to give feedback and to group obsolete and duplicate content to gain clarity.
Within these forums there should be the possibility to start polls on wanted features or core changes.
At last, it would be a great idea to access the forums via the wp dashboard, e.g. a list of subscribed discussions.
