This was a problem with the theme which disables non plugable functions from WordPress when using his very own SideBars. Specially those used in recent versions to register the Widgets.

From the upcoming Sideposts 1.5, only WordPress native functions will be supported. So, test it before using on a live site when not using the WordPress Native SideBar.

On this cases, the plugin will not load nor activate to prevent site crashes.

New versions have been released. And the plugin is maintained and developed further.

More versions are under development, like the possibility to have multiple instances of the plugin to have more than just one sidepost.

Nothing bad with the plugin. Was my mistake!

It was me. For some reason I had a bookmark to www, when the cookie was set without www. That is normal in most situations not to remember the cookie.

I also had this problem, but I think is much better to just change the line 442 to this:
if(intval($current_user->user_level) <= get_option(‘userphoto_level_moderated’) ){

Anybody solved this issue? I have some old plugins not maintained anymore from months and want them to be deleted to start over with new developments.

Download the new version which has been tested with the theme K2 RC6.

Yes, it was a problem when using the custom sidebars for the K2 Theme, wich disables some Widget Control functions.

Have you tried to delete the plugin’s folder?
This deactivates the plugin in case of errors and site should run perfect.
Will test with K2 theme.

I tested the 2.5 version in a live site, and because thinks like this one, I downgraded to 2.3.3 again. I’tys because things like that:

– The widget admin was really easiest in 2.3.3
– Lots of admin plugins stoped working with the new panel.

Changes done on the admin side, made to me more dificult to post and to admin my site. Surely beacuse I use some plugins to manage my posts and to get content from Youtube, Dailymotion, Picasa and to publish my podcast. Most of them does not integrate well with the new admin.

I think 2.5 is a major upgrade and we must have a test environment if we use some admin plugins.

Same here with WP 2.3.3 the thumbnail is created on the server (I can see it) but there is no thumbnail option when uploading on the post. To Yesterday it was working, and suddenly this option gones.

Just today appeared the thumbnail problem to my blog. I’m using WP 2.3.3 and it was working fine to now. But I have not the send thumbnail option anymore.

I installed no new plugins and uploaded no new files. Yesterday it was working today it is not…. ??

Just have the options to send the full size image or the standard link. Pictures are no so big (640×480 max) and the thumbnail gets created in the server…

Any help will be welcome.
