In reply to: Reducing white space in mobile versionHope you don’t mind me chiming in here quick. Just noticed a small typo in Alex’s code above. Doesn’t look like you’ve tried this yet as I can still see the issue on your site so hoping to catch ya before you try it. Remove the semi-colon in the media query, so will look like this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { body #container #main-content { margin-top: 250px; } }

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Skype buttonHey there Phoebe,
Hope you’re doing well today, doesn’t look like Share Buttons has a skype button by default; however, you could add one via: https://www.addthis.com/academy/how-to-create-custom-buttons-with-addthis/
That is if you have a specific skype url you are wanting to link to, if you are wanting are more complex “call” button then you can create one on Skype’s site and add it to your theme’s template(preferably child theme).
Link to create skype button: https://www.skype.com/en/developer/create-contactme-buttons/?intcmp=blogs-_-generic-click-_-add-a-skype-call-to-action-to-your-website-or-email-signature
There may be other methods of adding custom buttons to this plugin but I’m not aware, so perhaps the developer will chime in if there is.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,

In reply to: can't install pluginHey @zacklim,
This sounds like a permissions issue. Have you made sure that your /wp-content and your /plugins directory have 755 for their permissions level? You can do that via FTP or through your cPanel file manager.
Another possible issue is that your web server doesn’t have ownership over the WordPress directories, in which case you can try adding this constant to your wp-config.php file:
define('FS_METHOD','direct');
If you’re still having issues then try deactivating all your other plugins just to ensure there isn’t any conflicts.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
TylerHey Duncan,
Thanks for your feedback.
Sorry you experienced slow performance with Custom Sidebars, we’re aware of the issue and working on resolving it ?? we’ll post back here once the update is out in-case you’re interested in giving it another shot.
Cheers,
TylerHey Antonynz,
Sorry you had a poor experience with Custom Sidebars. We’re working on improving the performance. Once that update is out we’ll post back here in-case you’re interested in giving it another shot ??
By the way, how many sidebars did you have setup?

In reply to: [Wiki] Basic InstallationHey Eirc,
Figured I would jump in here while Bojan is offline. Glad you got the CSS working ??
Also how do others edit it?
As mentioned in the email I just sent, this feature is restricted to the pro version only.
I did quick edit in the wiki’s and tried to change the capitalization in the slug but it reverted to lower case
It appears to be showing capitalized for me: https://screencast.com/t/RLF6ZwZw
Are you still seeing an issue on your end?

In reply to: [Membership 2] Spammed with Fake MembersHey there @edwardiangaiety,
Membership 2 adds a separate registration process to your site, as I’m sure you noticed. So it’s possible what happened here is that you didn’t add any CAPTCHA or anything to protect from spam sign ups on that page. That could have been how they initially got in.
We include support for:
WP reCAPTCHA: https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-recaptcha/
Are You a Human: https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/are-you-a-human/
So if you ever decide to give Membership 2 another shot then I would recommend using one of those 2 spam sign up blockers as well. With any plugin that involves registration forms you will be susceptible to spammy sign ups. We’ve included ways to help counteract that, but of course it’s up to the user whether they want to take advantage of them or not.
I do realize it’s unlikely you will decide to use this plugin again, but just wanted to mention the above CAPTCHA options in-case you do.
If you are still receiving sign ups even with Membership 2 deactivated then you must have a security hole somewhere else as well. I would make sure you don’t have any spam admin accounts or any accounts that have permissions to create users.
You can try temporarily locking up your registration via: WordPress > Settings > General.
Then see if you are still receiving sign ups. If so, it’s coming from inside your site, so make sure you clear out all of the spam users and also do a security scan on your site for any compromised files or ask your host too.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Useless Unless You Pay@jrpmedia, that is correct ?? the on-going $19/mo is for access to support and updates only.
One payment of $19 will get you the plugin and 1 month of support and updates. Even after that month you can still use the plugin on all of your sites if you like.
If you have further questions @jrpmedia just contact us here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/
Cheers!
PS. @hashimwarren – appreciate it ??
Hey Chris,
Thanks for the thorough response here and I’ll definitely admit that some of the Appointments+ features need a rewrite. We’re actually planning on rewriting the whole plugin as well to make it more user-friendly. It’s one of our more popular plugins.
In my last response I was referring to the gmail access:
So rather than paying for a custom developer to do the work, I’ll get you the login info to my Gmail account to use for this calendar.
That’s from this post here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/appointments-google-api-issues#post-882831
We were waiting for the gmail access to come in but I don’t see any emails where that came in? Our system closes the support tickets once staff reply then re-opens them again once the member replies back, so since there was no reply in the ticket and an email with the gmail access never came in, the ticket was left closed.
So if you do re-visit it later on then let us know and instead of all the back and forth troubleshooting, we’ll just get that access and set it up for you right away. I’ve probably setup the gcal integration about 100 times now ??
Or even better, when you revisit it we may have an updated integration!
Thanks again for your feedback here. Any further questions/comments just let me know.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Hey Chris,
Thanks for your feedback here.
Are you referring to this thread? https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/appointments-google-api-issues#post-882948
I was going over it and I see that you offered to provide us your gmail login info so we could get it setup for you ourselves; however, that was never sent in or at least never made it into our inbox.
We are more than happy to help you further with this. If you want to contact me here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/
Select “I have a different question” and make the subject line “Attn: Tyler Postle“.
If you’re happy with your new solution then no problem at all, just let us know if you ever do re-visit Appointments+ and I can get it all setup for you.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
Hey Cameck,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this!
You can’t delete it; however, you can update your original review by going back here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/wp-smushit
Then clicking “Add your own review”.
It will let you change the original text and also the star rating too. I know it’s been awhile now so you are probably way past this, but it would be super appreciated if you could update it ??
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
Cheers,
