  • Hi mastergraphiks,

I don’t have any special tool for migrating bookings from one WordPress site to another. If you’re migrating a website, you probably want to migrate more than just the bookings: user accounts, blog posts, and other content can be good to transfer as well in order to retain SEO position.

I can recommend a couple of approaches that might help with this.

WP Migrate DB is a powerful tool for migrating databases from one site to another. A Pro version is available with more features.

Another option would be to use my addon for CSV exports in order to compile a CSV file with all of the bookings. You could then use WP All Import Pro to import that CSV to the custom bookings post type. You’d need to match up all of the post metadata appropriately.

i have already done this by using simple wordpress default export plugin and exported all the bookings and then imported them into new blog using wordpress import plugin and all bookings went to correct place ??

Great! Glad to hear it worked out well for you. The default importer has a reputation for not working in all cases, so it’s good to hear it’s a reliable tool for Restaurant Reservations.
