What exactly are you trying to achieve, and how? What shortcode are you trying to use to create columns, and by which plugin or theme are they provided?

I’m afraid nested shortcodes aren’t supported by the WordPress shortcode API. So your Idea won’t work. And yes, cf7 forms use shortcodes to generate form fields.

I’ve taken some time to think about this Idea. But I’m afraid I don’t get what you want done exactly.

Contact Form 7 is a form mailer. That means, it basically allows the user to enter some data, and than have it mailed to you. However, the point about reviews would be to display them on the website, not habit it mailed to someone, right?

If I understand you right, either the built-in comments function, or a custom post type, combined with some frontend-editing features would solve your problem.

If this is not what you meant, maybe you want to explain it to me in more detail.

I can’t imagine how this plugin could mess with the submit button from cf7. However, if the problem persists and you are still interested in a solution, please give me more information of the form you created. Maybe a third-party shortcode you used added another submit button?
