In reply to: Updating Custom ThemesAfter many updates, it appears that maintaining a child theme has really served me well. Even when updates for the themes have come about; it has not radically changed the sites’ looks or interface.
Thanks allot. I think maintaining child themes is the best approach and now really value and understand why so many suggest it is the only way to go.

In reply to: [Abaris] Flex Slider ProblemBtw, the scroll down of the circular icons is something that bothered me as well. I wanted them to just be there. I was told I have to turn off animation in the settings for them to just be there. I am not sure what else that effects as I am not using all the features. As to your other question about having the different ways of manipulating the front page gives users a wider range of options in creating their page. Not everyone knows or wants to use a specific method. It makes the theme more flexible for different users. Just my 2 cents. I am just a purchaser of the product also and am using it on a couple of sites and have so far really liked its flexibility. Almost all changes are easy via CSS and it would be nice to have a list of all classes / IDs but one can just go through the different CSS files or use an inspector plugin like firebug. I have seen no theme that has a master list of classes / IDs. It would be great if they all did; but none do.

In reply to: [Abaris] Flex Slider ProblemWhen I go to https://www.webulousthemes.com/forums/ I see 4 support forums all Private: Abaris Pro Boxy Pro FlatOn Pro and GreenrPro. I think the major issue which is a design flaw of the support site is you have to be logged into your account which you used to buy the product before it shows these forums. Perhaps it can be made clearer by the blank forum page to say something about that.

In reply to: [Abaris] Flex Slider ProblemIt works fine. You have to be logged into your account which you used to purchase the product. I am looking at it right now. Click on my account first and make sure you log into the site with the account that you used when you purchased your product. Then go to support. Works great.

In reply to: [Abaris] Flex Slider ProblemThe link to the support section for the pro site does work; however, you have to make sure that you are logged in. This fooled me before also. I have gotten great support from Raj and others on there. Best of luck.
