Thanks that worked for me in my child theme of twenty thirteen

I had the same problem, a “http error” message after upload.
Changing the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT did not help: it generated a total database connection failure.
What helped is uploading smaller images. Not the 4500 px from my camera, but resized to max 1300 px wide

I was still using the standard links widget. Now with the new widget I works like a charm …

after updating plugin version 1.12 to 1.13 the admin panael works. Now let’s see if i get a site up and running with user selectable styles.

Great plugin. Works well with WP 2.8.6 and Atahualpa theme.

What about a third option for list type: “none” what gives just line of text with breaks in between.
