Nvm seems to be a plugin issue perhaps with 5.5.

After I updated SiteOrigin is not applying any custom CSS settings, not just new ones I am trying to insert. I had even reverted to an older version/revision from last week that worked and it still was not applying custom CSS. Seems like the CSS is being ignored completely. Never experienced a problem before with SiteOrigin on other sites so I am chalking it up to some change in 1.2.2 causing it. No other updates or other changes were made to the site other than the CSS plugin update.

I have determined that I cannot have a form on the front page of the site. If I move the form to a different page the form works properly and redirects to the correct page.

I had to move to NinjaForms because I was not able to resolve the problem. Thank you for the help in any case.

Nothing you need to do with CF7. The actual data being entered into the CF7 form will be encrypted with TLS, but the email sent is not a secure channel at all. Without getting into certain email providers providing encryption between each other just don’t assume that your data is safe. So do not have people enter anything private e.g. social security etc…

I have tried all the steps on the page including disabling all plugins and using a default twenty seventeen theme with version 4.9.1. Any other help you could offer? I had reverted back to 4.7 and it was again working properly. Thanks in advance!

Are you others who are experiencing problems using SiteOrigin as well? I am trying to determine if SiteOrigin, combined with WP 4.9 and Contact Form 7 4.9.1 are causing the conflict.

I have the same issue with WordPress 4.9 and never had issue with previous version of Contact Form. I found that I had to downgrade to 4.7 to get it working. So Something changed perhaps the removal of Stopped using jquery.form.js. in version 4.8 caused a problem, but that was before 4.9. So something needs to be adjusted to fix Contact Forms in WordPress 4.9.

Never had an issue before 4.8 – 4.9.1 with my theme. Only way Contact form 7 works is on 4.7. Theme author is blaming Contact Form 7 and not able to get any support from them.

Appears there may be an issue with WordPress 4.9 and Contact forms newer than 4.7. You can try downgrading to 4.7 till the issue is fixed. It worked for me!

I am also experiencing the same issue with latest version of contact 7 forms, 4.9.1 with WordPress 4.9. It just spins and never submits the form. I had to roll back to Contact forms 4.7 in order to fix the problem.
