In reply to: [WP Multi Network] Broken for 4.8 ?Gabriel,
… tried a bit of everything…
at the end,
removing and reinstalling my theme (optimizepress)
seams to have fixed the problem.I have removed the commenting out in the wpmn-loader.php
thanks again,

In reply to: [WP Multi Network] Broken for 4.8 ?Hi Grabriel,
thanks!!! I love you!
I can access the wp-admin again of the network! This solved the error I was getting:
Use of undefined constant AUTH_COOKIE – assumed ‘AUTH_COOKIE’ in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 767
But
the strange fact is:
I have a wp multi-site with multi-network
all the multi-network worked perfectly
except for 1 which had the error you mentioned.‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ … AUTH_COOKIE …
Your solution solved the problem of this network.
But surely the problem was not related to 4.8, or at least not to 4.8 alone…
I cannot find what it is that creates the problem with one network and not in the others…
Do you have any suggestion?
thanks
u.

Hi Guys,
I feel all this is quite confusing … ??
(or maybe it is just me!) so I need a dummy’s guide!Ok, so far I have understood that:
to how to map https://mysite.com to the subdomain https://mysite.mywpmu.com
with a wpmu installation on a DEDICATED IP
have been properly described by cleanteam (thanks!)—————————————————
But with a wpmu installation on a SHARED IP
I run onto a wall! Please can anyone, much more clever than me,
rewrite/correct and complete the following? Thanks of your help
—————————————————Mapping mysite.com to a wpmu installation on a SHARED IP
Step 1: install your wpmu: https://mywpmu.com without www
Step 2: create a * wildcard subdomain in https://mywpmu.com CPanel
Step 3: get your domain https://mysite.com (that you wish to map)
Step 4: create a PARKED (Alias) domain in the https://mywpmu.com CPanel
called mysite.comStep 5: in the https://mysite.com registrar’s DNS settings create
????? (CNAME – Url redirect – ….) ?????Step 6: in the https://mywpmu.com dashboard create a new site https://mysite.mywpmu.com
Step 7: in the https://mywpmu.com dashboard go to
My Sites > Network Admin > Sites and edit the url of
https://mysite.mywpmu.com
and change it into
https://mysite.comStep 8: Edit the wp-config.php of the https://mywpmu.com/ and add
???? define( ‘COOKIE_DOMAIN’, ???????Thanks, I will look in to that. But I think I did not express myself well.
So far I understood that
1) if you can use the paypal ipn, just insert in the “Specific Post/Page Sale Notification URL” the url https://webhooks.aweber.com/paypal_ipn/xxx
(see the https://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/paypal-pro-forms-aweber-notify-url/)2) if you cannot use the paypal ipn (like me) one should send to aweber and email from “customer email” to [email protected] or use the aweber parser (https://www.s2member.com/kb/aweber-email-parser-for-s2member/). So What to insert in the the “Specific Post/Page Sale Notification URL”?
thanks krumch,
could you provide an example?
I was thinking that I should use the customer email parser,
in the Specific Post/Page Sale Notification URLs
but I do not know how to do it.No… I am using 1 aweber account but different paypal accounts for different lists connected to different websites.
So paypal ipn cannot be usedPlease help…
