In reply to: [MarketPress - WordPress eCommerce] error 10486Hi there @wclune, I hope you’re well today. ??
That error code seems to indicate an issue with the charge attempt on the user’s card/bank account. There are details about it here:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/express-checkout/ht_ec_fundingfailure10486/Have you maybe tried asking the user to double check to ensure their card is up to date, has a balance to cover the purchase or maybe if they could just check with their bank to see what the issue is?
Hope that’ll help, feel free to ask if you have further questions about this too. ??
Cheers,

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] Document upload only works for adminHi @rhysbonney, thanks for posting about this and I’m very sorry for the severe delay here. You can set the upload settings for each Group, allowing all members or just admins and mods to upload.
Here’s a screenshot showing that setting when creating a Group:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7bdY1zZi8JeOHlTbnpzazZhRHc/view?usp=sharingActivity Plus works with that setting and general Group member uploads should be possible when setting the upload permissions as such.
We’ll keep a keen eye on this topic so just let us know if you notice any issues with that. ??

In reply to: [Appointments] admin-ajax.php vulnerabilityHi @raphael,
Thanks for using the plugin, hope you’re doing well today!
The plugin definitely doesn’t have that particular vulnerability, it doesn’t use that slider or similar code. Is it possible you’ve got something else (another plugin or theme) that does and that’s creating issues for Appointments as well?
Hope to hear back from you on this. ??
Cheers,
DavidHi @spicoli,
Thanks for your questions, I hope you’re well today! ??
The plugin doesn’t have a built-in feature for members to send a message but you could easily protect a contact form using a free plugin like Contact Form 7: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7/
That way they could send a message when they’ve followed up on a bill payment.
There are other possibilities too, with our premium service, and we’d love to discuss them if you’d like to contact us.
I hope that helps. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. ??

In reply to: [Membership 2] Membership Plugin Page refresh needed after sign in.Hi @onegeek,
Thanks for posting your concern here, let’s see how we can sort that out! We actually had a recent post about that specifically in our premium forums (not sure if that was you), details on it here:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/membership-plugin-page-refresh-needed-after-sign-in
If that’s your post, the team will gladly assist you further there. If not though, does the info that Ash posted help?
Thanks,
DavidHi @itanjillc,
Thanks for trying the plugin but sorry to head you had trouble, we’d absolutely love to help though!
I’ve got the plugin working just fine in a current site, WP 4.2.2. The popups work as normal there. If it’s not working for you, it could be due to a JavaScript conflict or maybe even the settings you’ve chosen.
To quickly rule out a plugin or theme conflict, you can try deactivating other plugins and switching to Twenty Fifteen theme momentarily to see how it works with that.
If you’d like to create a support ticket here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-popupWe’d love to have a look with you, we’d love to try and earn a better rating from you. ?? How’s that sound?
Hey there @chammell,
I just wanted to check back on this, did you manage to get this sorted out earlier? If not, we’d love to look into it with you. Just let us know with a link and/or other details and we’ll gladly see how we can help. ??
Thanks,

In reply to: [Chat] New emoticons doesn't worksHi @smexhy,
Greetings, hope you’re well! ?? I just responded to that prior ticket and since that’s regarding the emoticons as well, we can continue through that one. How’s that sound?

In reply to: [Chat] Messages when bottom chat is off, doesn't show up in normal chatHi @smexhy,
I hope you’re well today and thanks for posting! Really appreciate your patience with this too, let’s get this all sorted out for you! ??
I’m not seeing any issues when using both the corner chat and a page chat in testing over here. Given some of the other items you mentioned, I suspect there might be some sort of conflict. Could you try deactivating other plugins and switch to Twenty Fifteen theme to see how it works then?
Similarly, the emoticons and avatars (for public users) work just fine on my end. Perhaps the plugin/theme check above will help get to the issue behind that?
As for resizing, that actually depends on your theme. If your theme’s content area adjusts to resizes then the plugin should. At least it does for me with Twenty Twelve, for example.
The email requirement is actually built into the plugin as a way to try and avoid duplicate users so to change that would require a bit of an extensive change of the plugin code like noted here:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/how-to-use-the-chat-plugin-without-e-mailI hope that helps and if you could let us know how that theme/plugin check goes, we’ll gladly see how we can assist. ??
Thanks,

In reply to: [Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Sidebar Widget Area Manager] Page screwed up!!!Hi @jakobbader,
Thanks for taking a moment to review the plugin, though sorry to hear you’ve had trouble using it. ?? I see you posted about it here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/page-screwed-upWe were hoping to hear back from you on it, is that all working well for you now?
We’d love to see that all sorted out if it’s still an issue. Just let us know more info and we’ll look into it with ya! ??
Cheers,
DavidHi everyone, thanks so much for your patience here! Since there are a number of reported issues here that likely have different culprits, if you could all please create new topics for each individual case, we’ll gladly look into and see how we can help sort it out.
In general though, deactivating other plugins and switching to Twenty Fifteen theme should help narrow down the issue to a plugin/theme conflict.
@zioweb, that file you referenced sounds like it’s added by your host. Is it possible to get them to assist or simply remove that extra JavaScript code?
@thoughton, I hope the info Vinod provided earlier helped. If you’re still seeing issues with this, just let us know and we’ll gladly look into it. ??
Thanks,

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Export/Import coursesHi @vallivals,
On Vinod’s behalf, you’re most welcome! And I’m glad the initial items are importing okay though as you’ve seen, other things like course units aren’t quite so simple.
We’ll be looking at possibilities for extending the plugin with such features, sorry that’s not available right this moment though. Just let us know if there is anything we can help with, we’ll do our best to assist. ??
Thanks,
DavidHi LucyTech,
Thanks for having posted about this, I hope you’re doing great today! Sorry for the lengthy delay but we’d love to ensure this is resolved for you asap!
On that note, could you let me know where you’re seeing the error?
I suspect it’s through your site’s back-end, as a “strict” error, does that sound correct?
We had a report about that a moment back in our premium area:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/3-of-the-google-maps-classes-agmmapmodelIt’s just a warning message that shouldn’t affect the plugin’s functioning, but if you’ll let us know more detail, we’ll gladly look into it to see it’s sorted as it was in that ticket I linked to.
How’s that sound?

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] No "Post In" box in activity streamHi @hudsonworks,
Thanks so much for your patience with this and sorry for any confusion but that is actually how the plugin’s currently designed to work. It basically just displays a message to let users know they can go to a Group to post a document.
We’ll look into making that more helpful, but I’ll also send you an email as I see you posted about this to our premium support area as well. I’ll send that out in just a moment.
Again, thanks for your patience here. Looking forward to getting this sorted out for you through our premium support. ??
Cheers,
DavidHi @hh1,
Just following up here as you left some feedback on this in a review, and I’ve since posted some detail for adding this by code there:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/a-promising-start-but-several-improvements-needed-to-be-a-truly-effective-lms?replies=4#post-I hope that’s helpful, I think it should sort this out rather neatly while we look into getting features like this built in.
Just let us know if there’s anything we can do to assist. ??
Thanks,
David
