I’ve installed the plugin now but now I can’t figure out something you wrote:

1. Put the live site in read-only mode

How do I do that? I can not see an option in the plugin for that. Or is that achieved by any other means?

It works fine now, I was confused by the “normal” (4.8) editor and forgot to look for the “visual editor” widget …

Apparently not – I installed the update to 4.8 and now all the features from BS TinyMCE widget are gone …

I still get the errors/modified files messages with my German localisation for each and every scan.

Can you give an estimate for the new fixed version of WF? I even would be changing to the paid version if this would help.
