p.s. Just updated the plugin on a new client site hosted by BlueHost and it worked. I guess it MUST be a server thing then.
Any thought?

Yes they are on the same server. Other WP installs using Wordfence that I manage have no issue, so I assumed it might be a server issue. I did speak to my ISP (iPower) and I compared permissions against sites using WP and Wordfence on a different server (GoDaddy) with the ones on iPower and they seem the same. Not quite sure which permissions on which files or folders I should look though.
Every other plugin update fine.
The message I get (whether trying to install from the Plugins page – using the update link under the plugin OR from going to Updates Available) is:
Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

I have tried everything and can’t get it to update to the latest version every time. I have been using it for a couple of years and this started about 9 months ago. I manage 15 WP installs and they all get the same issue – EVERY update. The only solution I have is to delete the plugin, reinstall and sign up again. For 15 sites this is a MAJOR PAIN.
Thing I have tried:
? Deactivate / Update / Activate FAILED
? Turn on Automatic Updates in Wordfence>Options FAILED
? Turn off Automatic Updates in Wordfence>Options / Update FAILED
? Check permissions through FTP file research FAILED
? Check with ISP (iPower) for known or emerging issues FAILEDI feel like an idiot for sticking with it but I really like the features.
Any help!!

I’ve had the same problem the last few updates on multiple (6 of 8 – all on same server) sites I manage. Usually I just delete the plugin and reinstall the latest, I found this post and deleted the configCache.php and emptied all caches, but its still failing the update

I am trying that and it is centering – but is being very weird – if I place the shortcode in the page it shows a double image – if I don’t nothing displays, and is not opening the form:

The Wipe Settings is under the Debugging/Expert Tools tab. I was expecting it under the Settings tab with the Expert Settings.

Delete and reinstall app
Delete entries in wp-option table in databaseEverytime I reinstall it tells me I am authenticated, but to the wrong account.
I saw somewhere that there was a Wipe Setting option under expert setting, but I don’t have that.
Any help??
