In reply to: Pin Number Login – Like Stealth Login PageApparently a work around is to install an older WordPress version, set the site up, then do the upgrade to 4.5x and the stealth login plugin works.
I installed WordPress 4.4.2 did everything needed to set up the site, then did the upgrade and all is well.
Apparently the plugin doesn’t work on an original install of 4.5x but will if you do an older, then upgrade.
Hope this helps someone else.

In reply to: Pin Number Login – Like Stealth Login PageDoes anyone know of a plugin that will add this feature?
Thanks for the help Tim, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
As for the Twitter shoutout, I just wanted to help spread the word about Wordfence and how great the support is that is given to it’s user. Many Plugin Authors don’t have great support like you have given me. I just want people to know that great support is just 1 more reson to use Wordfence.
Thanks again.
You are most welcome.
The changes were made that were discussed above and they did make a nice and noticeable change in the CPU load. Over the last several hours there is a good decrease in the CPU load which in turn has also helped speed up my site load times.
One last question,
Will altering the setting for “How much memory should Wordfence request when scanning” have any affect at all on CPU usage? I didn’t know if increasing or decreasing would have any kind of affect on the CPU loads.
Thanks again for your great help and suggestions.
Thanks Tim, I’ll give that a try and see what happens.
I appreciate your help with this matter.
Great support is another reason why Wordfence is the best security plugin. ??

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Discussion Settings, Please HelpHi, Thanks for your reply. I don’t think it has to do with the hosting. I am just not sure if it has to do with Softaculous or not. The install works perfectly with that one exception. It just won’t let me change the Discussion settings. The other settings can be changed as usual.
When I am reinstalling, I am just doing the one click install’s. I have never installed it manually myself so I have refrained from trying that since that kind of thing is completely new to me. I know how to one click install and use WP after that.
I checked with the hosting company and they said it is not them. They said I would need to go here to find help for WP since they don’t offer software support.
This thing just has me stumped.
