Okay so I checked the “Structured Data Markup” option in the advanced settings. Now I see the published data as well as updated date.

My question is: what date will search engines pick up? If they pick up the published date, is there a way to hide the published data so they pick up updated date?

I found the problem. It was actually the layout that was causing the problem. Images are displaying correctly if I select the default layout, but I switch to Canvas or a different layout, images won’t show for some reason.

@emranemranx Thank you for your response. I have put the code. Now everything below the widget is white but the widget padding is still grey. Is there a way we can reduce the widget’s left, right, top and bottom padding to zero so that everything is white? The primary purpose of making everything on the right look white is to make sure that ads don’t look like ads.

@andrewmperryman it works but below the widget that I have in place in my sidebar, the area is still grey all the way down to the end.

Thank You. That problem is solved. Now I am looking at inspection tool and adding the following CSS to reduce the gap between featured post and exclusive stories area on my home page https://www.cricketopinion.com/

It seems to be working alright when I change pixel value in inspection tool, but not after I paste it in the additional CSS area. I can’t figure out the problem here.

If I remove the pop-up code, the menu works fine on mobile devices. So I think that is where this issue is. I have also noticed that the buttons — which I had set up to display my website’s social links — have stopped showing icons but the text is visible. What could be the issue? I have embedded MC’s sign up form in my sidebar. Is is possible that is causing this issue?

Would you recommend any plugin that does it?

I have put this code and it hides the author name on individual posts. But the problem is still there if I open any category. The posts under that still show author name.
How do I make sure it doesn’t happen anywhere? Not even in the facebook when I share it. Like facebook automatically shows sitename and byline below the content.
