Hi @hypeonweb , we’ll go ahead and close this ticket since it has been open for about a month, but if you still need assistance you’re welcome to open this back up.
Hi @scratchmaster ,
Absolutely, you can add this to the bottom of the functions.php file in your child theme to remove the Automator menu at the top:
add_filter( ‘automator_hide_wp_admin_header_menu’, ‘__return_true’ );
Let us know if you run into any trouble with it.
Oh, anything related to performance wouldn’t be on the log side at all. What you want to do wouldn’t really help to resolve your core concern.
What I would suggest doing is opening a ticket on our site with more details about the recipes (screenshots help), details about your hosting plan, number of simultaneous users, and the LMS plugin you’re using. If you have done any performance tracking with tools like Query Monitor or New Relic, that data might help too.
(And just as a side note, Monday is a holiday here in Canada, so if your team does reach out early next week we might reply on Tuesday.)
Oh! In that case, @tripledm , have you tried using the pruning options? Is the issue that not enough is getting pruned? If you want to reach out on our site, our developers could potentially suggest some options if you aren’t find pruning sufficient (like in cases of recipes that are in progress that you want to remove from logs entirely).
Just in case you mean the Debug logs under Automator > Status > Debug, you can certainly disable those. They are for troubleshooting only and aren’t needed. Assuming you mean what’s under “Logs”, our reply above applies.
Hi @tripledm , you can’t currently disable logs (they’re required for a lot of core functions, including schedules, delays, in some cases token use), but you can certainly clean up the data that’s stored there limited.
In the free version you can use the manual tool to prune logs (https://automatorplugin.com/knowledge-base/using-automator-logs/#cleaning-up-the-logs) and Pro users have an option to prune logs automatically.
Can you confirm if you’re using Free or Pro? And any chance we could ask what types of recipes you’re using that generate large volumes of data?
And when you say “load”, there shouldn’t be any performance hit or anything related to log volume, is that what you mean?

Hi @scottprath , thanks so much for the review! Dani is thrilled that she was able to help and that you took time to leave feedback here. We really appreciate it!
Hi @andriyetch , any chance you can confirm your Automator version, both free and Pro (if you’re using it)? Can you also send us a screenshot of the recipe, either here or to [email protected]? Maybe also for one of the recipes that’s working fine, just so we can look for possible differences?
Thanks
Excellent! Thanks so much for confirming. We’ll close this ticket and include the change in the next release.
Hi @eliana242 ,
Thanks for reporting the issue. Our team was able to confirm your findings in certain test cases, so we would like to have you try a fix.
You can download the file up from https://we.tl/t-u25pAqGvYX. Upload that file to your site by FTP, repacing the existing version, at this path:
\wp-content\plugins\uncanny-automator\src\integrations\masterstudy-lms\triggers\masterstudy-coursedone.php
Please let us know if that resolves your issue. Assuming it does, we will include that change in the next release.
Hi @hypeonweb ,
Sorry about the late reply on this one.
After you add the “Update a row in a Google Sheet” action (and after selecting your spreadsheet, column search, and match value), click on the “Get columns” button. The “Row” fields will have a column “Update?” after all the columns have been imported. Switching one of them will show a “Value” field. Click on the asterisk button and type “Product” to show all the available tokens. As a reference, please see the screenshots: https://share.cleanshot.com/JZcoHT & https://share.cleanshot.com/hHhOuO.
If you’re still having trouble, maybe you can send screenshots of the current edit recipe page with all details expanded so we can see how you currently have tokens set up. These can go to [email protected] if it’s easier.
Thanks
