Uncanny Automator

Hi @chrishechler ,
You can absolutely use buttons (we call them “magic buttons”) to trigger recipes, including making a pop-up appear. Have a look at https://automatorplugin.com/knowledge-base/magic-button/ for more info. Please note though that use of magic buttons does require our Pro version; it’s not supported in the free plugin.
You can see a full list of integrations, triggers and actions we support here: https://automatorplugin.com/all-triggers-and-actions/. Beyond that list for pop-ups, assume support for triggering pop-ups with OptinMonster as an action is also coming very, very soon…
Sorry @reza4234 , I’m not sure if I understand. What you describe sounds more like a condition instead of an action. Uncanny Automator can run a recipe if a user achieves a certain number of total points, and with an action we can award or revoke points.
But you couldn’t trigger recipe if the number of points is below a certain amount.
Maybe you can give us an example of what you want to do? So if a user’s point total is below a certain amount, what happens? What if it’s above?
Thanks
Ah, interesting! Thanks for the update and feedback. We’ll go ahead and close the ticket.
Hi @futureyoon , this one is a different issue than what we found and fixed last night. It suggests your environment is not seeing a file that definitely exists in the plugin; we haven’t seen other reports either and it seems to be site-specific.
Our team’s suggestion is that you do the following as a next step:
1. Downgrade Automator again.
2. Disable FluentCRM (if you’re using it, can you confirm?).
3. In the admin bar, use Automator > Flush cache to clear any caching.
4. Reinstall the latest version of Uncanny Automator (are you doing this from the site UI, FTP or another way?).
5. Try reenabling FluentCRM if it was previously enabled. If none of the above helps and you are using FluentCRM, maybe you can confirm the version that’s active and whether you’re using the Pro plugin for FluentCRM.
Following that, if we can’t determine the issue, it may help to get more information about the site via the system report (and at that point it’s probably better to move this to our Help Desk).
The update has now been released. Please let us know if you still see any issues.
We were able to confirm an issue with Fluent CRM and PHP 8.0+ with the latest release. We’re preparing an update now that we’ll push shortly.
Thanks again for alerting us and our apologies for the inconvenience. When the update is available (within the hour) maybe you can test again and confirm it’s resolved.
Hi @futureyoon , thanks for reporting the issue. Is there any chance you could check the error log and either post related errors here or send us a message on our website? We’ll investigate now as well but most of our team isn’t online for a few hours, so the more information we can collect the better.
Hi @mo7se7 !
We don’t foresee any problem here, no. Your plan sounds fine on our side.
We will go ahead and close this ticket for now, but feel free to reopen it if you have additional questions or run into issues.
Hi @clackey99 ,
Sorry to hear about the issue.
If you are using WPForms Lite, so not the paid version, there is a chance that you are affected by an issue that we fix on Friday (in version 3.9.0.2) where the new WPForms tokens we added could cause WPForms recipes to fail if there was no associated entry (and there’s not in WPForms lite). Could you try upgrading if you haven’t yet to see if that does address your problem?
If not, it would help to see details of a recipe submission from the Recipe Log (with the Details for the recipe expanded), a screenshot of the recipe with all details expanded, and a copy of the System Report from under Automator > Tools in /wp-admin/. You can send that information to [email protected] or post if from your account on our website if some of the information is sensitive.
Thanks
Hi @sanaconeltantra , thanks for the suggestion!
You’re the first to request that support, but we have captured your feedback and will consider it for a future release (so we’ll close this ticket our for now since we have the information we need).
Hi @mo7se7 ,
The free version of our plugin has no dependencies on the cron system. I can’t remember if you’re using free or Pro, but if it’s just free, there’s nothing to worry about here.
Our Pro version does have dependencies on crons and Action Scheduler for supporting things like delayed and scheduled actions. You should still be fine with the changes you’re suggesting, but we wanted to mention our related dependencies.
