In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Group Leaders Assign CoursesHi @dpetrovia , just a note that we don’t normally see responses to closed threads and this doesn’t seem to be related to our Toolkit plugin. We are not affiliated with LearnDash and this seems like a question better directed to their support team.

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Scorm Files Are Performing SlowHi @jaco4ster , we can definitely take a look for you, but this forum is just for the Toolkit plugin rather than Tin Canny. The www.ads-software.com guidelines also suggest using official support channels for commercial products: https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products
To better understand what’s happening, maybe you can open a ticket on our site and include a site report from LearnDash LMS > Settings > Support. It would also be great if you could tell us about the number of slides in the Rise module, your hosting, and what export format you’re using.
We will mark this as resolved since the post isn’t about the Toolkit, but we’ll be happy to give you more feedback when you open a Tin Canny ticket.
Thanks

Hi @jmslbam , we just wanted to confirm that this change was applied in the 3.6.4.4 release. Thanks again for the suggestion!

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Certificate shortcode not workingOh, that’s fantastic! And yes, agreed, we’ll see what we can do here on our side.
Hi, since it has been over a month now, we’ll hope the fix worked and close this ticket. Let us know though if additional assistance is needed.

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Certificate shortcode not workingHi @rockinaway , I’m really sorry, we missed this message.
We would unfortunately really need to see a link to the page with an example (so ideally student access) to assess why there might not be formatting. Out of the box formatting is very limited and there is no support for pagination. Having said that, we have captured your request and will consider it for a future release; strangely, yours is the first request, but certainly we can see how it would be useful for sites with a lot of certificates.

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] About Vulnerability Fix on 3.6.4.4Hi @pautgn ,
Absolutely, we can definitely provide more context. Specific details aren’t public at this time (for obvious reasons, though more information will be available in 2 weeks), but we can point you in the right direction about impact.
One is related to a redirect, where users could potentially be tricked into visiting an unexpected site from a link on your site. This could only be done by a user that’s logged in to your site and they would have to intentionally target a specific unpublished URL. The other has to do with how permissions are checked for an API. They are considered “Medium” severity.
Certainly we recommend updating to the latest version, but you do have time to test.
Good question. For demos, we typically use basic, generic themes, so things aren’t heavily branded and users won’t feel like styling would be out of place on their sites. In some cases we inherit theme styles, and then there are plugins like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/design-upgrade-learndash/ that are specifically designed to restyle some of our output (in a very easy way). That plugin has full support in its free version for the Uncanny Toolkit.
Hi @zeeshan333 ,
Thanks for the inquiry.
Please note that the Toolkit plugin is a free plugin only and we release updates as they are appropriate and needed. Tentatively one is planned for next week with a few changes.
If your question is about Toolkit Pro, one of our paid plugins, you will see that there were 2 releases in April: https://www.uncannyowl.com/knowledge-base/learndash-toolkit-pro-change-log/. So far in 2023 we have published over 20 new versions of our plugins, so yes, they are all very much actively maintained. The free Toolkit itself simply hasn’t needed updates for a few months.

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Resume Button with Featured ImageSorry Simon, this isn’t currently possible, but we’ll take a look at this for a future release (yours is the first request like this). We’ll follow up if we are able to add this. (For now we’ll close this since the request has been captured.)
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks @jmslbam !
Yes, we can include that change (bundling the files in the plugin instead of loading them offsite) in the next release. Tentatively we’re planning to get that out next week.
Our team confirmed that we are loading them from outside the plugin because those assets are used in several of our plugins and it made it easier to manage changes, but we can definitely make that update.

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] Looking for Help with An Error MessageHi @supportteamtcga ,
Thanks for alerting us to the warning. One of our developers made a change to the file for you, which we have made available here: https://we.tl/t-iJQY2DjFDf. You can upload that to your site by FTP, replacing the existing version, at this path:
wp-content\plugins\uncanny-learndash-toolkit\src\classes\frontend-login-plus.php
We will include that change in the next release.
This should not be related to a permalinks issue though. Can you tell us exactly what is happening when permalinks are breaking? We haven’t seen similar reports and it would be unexpected for our plugin to be involved. Are you seeing 404s or other issues?
Thanks @big-frank , sorry for all of the back and forth.
Our dev team has match a patch available at https://we.tl/t-hhHCHaqek5. We will include the change in the next release, or if you want to use our changes (though it sounds like yours are working fine), you can replace your existing file now at this path:
wp-content/plugins/uncanny-learndash-toolkit/src/install-automator.php
Hi @big-frank , any chance we could confirm your PHP version? It does seem like that’s related, and I think we’ll flag supported versions in the next release as 7.4 to 8.1.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash] How to override plugin filesHi @pinkalbeladiya , we are very sorry for missing your ticket. We’re unfortunately not quite sure what you’re referencing here though. The Toolkit plugin itself doesn’t have a course block. Toolkit Pro has modules for a course grid and dashboard, but we’re not sure if that’s what you mean. If a template override is possible it would be covered in the Knowledge Base article (https://www.uncannyowl.com/knowledge-base/) for the associated Toolkit module, but most don’t support template overrides.
