Nop, that was not the issue. But it has been resolved, already.

I figured it out a little bit before that screenshot was taken, apparently.

The theme has the option to force header image to be responsive. I checked that box and the gap between the menu ans the top of the page disappeared. It was as simple as that, but I had not realized until some hours after my last reply here.

Since I had no image on header, I had paid no attention to that check box. It is under “Header Settings”, for those who may have the same issue in the future.

I figured it out.

If you add any <div> on the tex section of any slide, make sure you close it (</div>), otherwise it wil ruin the conduct of the next slider.

No, I am not using an old template in a child theme. Actually, I am using no child theme at all.

By the way, I already tried deactivating each plugin, one by one, and erasing the css… even taking down the ads on the header (a slider with a short code), but nothing solved the issue. You can still see it here https://www.curicoalbirrojo.cl

What do you mean? Is there a special format for the permalinks to make this work?

Since the original issue described in my original review is not happening any more, I am changing my review to a more positive one.

Besides, Marcel Bokhorst took the time to answer to this review, and the apparent “pay if you need help” was clarified.

The plugin has had some updates since I reviewed it, and now it works just perfect on the site (https://www.curicoalbirrojo.cl).

I recommend its use, and I am considering upgrading.
