Actually we are developing a link insert feature which will allow you to link individual slides to WordPress entries like posts, pages, categories, custom posts etc.

Also we are planning to get this feature out with the next update:)

Hi Bennyjh,
The idea of giving slide width and height was for your(admin’s) reference, the actual slider size depends upon dimensions provided to slider in slider page.

The idea was, you can set any dimensions to a slide while editing and during saving the editor only stores the elements on the slide and not its dimensions.

However in next version of this plugin we will build feature to store and recreate dimensions in the slides as it might be important for reference.

Actually we had never planned to use a static single background images, however you can use following css classes to hide/show slides

.c-layer – Class given to current slide
.layer – Common class for all the slides
.p-layer – Last active layer

With basic css you should be able to achieve what you need.
