Thank you for your reply, I was able to solve the matter directly in the plugin wp-members (the plugin I used for implementing a member area).
By the way, I am very happy with qtranslate. I tried various other multingual plugins, but there’re are somte kind of trouble with all of them.
Qtranslate is working smoothly, it’s very simple and time-saving, when writing bilingual pages and news.
That’s just my personal experience of course.Best Regards

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Drop Down Fields and qtranslateHi Franky,
if I’ve understood you well, then my problem could be solved by adding a language selection field (for example a drow-down-field with the values “German || Italiano”)?
Can you give me a short example how I would have to proceed for the confirming E-Mail in this case?
Is something like
If language-selection-field = “Deutsch” then
German Text
End if
If language-selection-field = “Italiano” then
Italian Text
End if
possible?Thank you very much!
Best Regards

I’ll try again as there hasn’t been any feedback so far:
I’ve installed the multilingual plugin qtranslate and my login/logout-page has (as typical for qtranslate) two different slugs for each language.
The logout from the German slug
https://www.mydomain/GermanPageName/?a=logout
works. The logout from the Italian slug
https://www.mydomain/ItalianPageName/?lang=it?a=logout
doesn’t work (message “page not found”).Can anybody help me, also with just giving me an advice of where to go to search?
Best Regards

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Booking form: modify standard message for empty fieldsHi Franky,
the warning message in itself is perfect, but in my case it should come up in another language (I am building up a multilingual site with two languages, neither of them is English).
That’s why I am asking this strange question.Best Regards

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Highlight empty required-field after submitting RSVPSorry Franky,
I have a maybe ignorant question about changesets, referring to the above stated https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/changeset/835184
Do you implement are these and other changesets implemented in one of the upcoming versions of EME or do they remain a user-defined option which interested users implement by themselves?
Thank you
Best Regards

In reply to: [Polylang] migration from qtranslate to polylangI’ll try it again: Isn’t there anybody who could tell me – just in short – about his/her experiences when migrating from qtranslate to polylang?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Events Made Easy] events made easy and qtranslateThe content should be all right, in both versions (German and Italian) the page contains just the short code [events_list]
Yes, Polylang should be a free and valid alternative to qtranslate and WPML, see https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/polylang/

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] events made easy and qtranslateThe wordpress version I use is in fact 3.8 ??
I solved it (or at least hoped to solve it) by adding “define(‘QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION’, ‘3.8’);” to qtranslate.php.My qtranslate setting for url’s are: query-mode (?lang=de)
The (test)page, where my (test)events are listed (by using the short code “[events_list]”) works fine in both languages:
a) German-URL: https://www.montessori.coop/cms/home/vortraege-seminare/veranstaltungen/?lang=de
b) Italian-URL: https://www.montessori.coop/cms/home/conferenze-seminari/eventi/?lang=ita) Selecting the second event (“Tage der offenen Tür”) from the German version of the page above mentioned works as it should, the page
https://www.montessori.coop/cms/events/4/tag-der-offenen-tuerla-giornata-delle-porte-aperte/?lang=de is opened.
b) If I try to open the same event from the Italian version of the page, the Home page, Italian version (https://www.montessori.coop/cms/?lang=it) is opened.
and not – as I would expect – the Italian version of the event in question (https://www.montessori.coop/cms/events/4/tag-der-offenen-tuerla-giornata-delle-porte-aperte/?lang=it)Would you recommend to wait for the update of qtranslate? As it is not the first time that I have a problem with qtranslate, would you recommend to change from qtranslate to polylang (in order to avoid conflicts with Events Made Easy)?
Best regards

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] events made easy and qtranslateHi Franky,
I tried to deactivate and reactivate, but it doesn’t solve the problem.
I also tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. Unfortunately the problem remains.
Are there other possible solutions?
