Hi – this has not been resolved. I am communicating by email but then received an email from your support sending me back to the support forum saying that I am not a paying customer; so now I’m thoroughly confused. Are you dealing with the issue?

Hi – I didn’t get the issue since the last time. However, our sending has now been suspended due to spam complaints, which may have resulted from these additional sendings. Please could you unlock the suspension as I have to send a newletter today and nothing is going out (I only send one per week so there is no spam apart perhaps from the bug in MailPoet). Thanks in advance.

Hi there, the same thing just happened. I sent out the newsletter as normal last Thursday and suddenly I received another one (separate sending with no content). I took a screenshot this time. Even though I deactivated the main newsletter, the additional one kept sending out, so I had to delete it (it only shows up when I look at the history with the stats).

That’s all I can say for the time being. I see there is another update, which I’ll execute right now.

Sorry I didn’t think to take a screen shot as I was madly trying to delete each new instance as it came up. And they do not come up in the deleted column either.

Hi there, we’re using WP 5.8 (French language version), Currently MailPoet 3 (New) 3.67.1. However I updated this before our newsletter send last week, and the problem didn’t recur – so the version we were using at the time was the one before this. MailPoet 3 Premium (New) 3.67.0.

Many thanks for your answer. Examining in details your screen shots led me to what I think is the source of the issue:

When using the shortcodes “tool” (a little icon, looking like a crowd, at the right of the tool bar) to insert subscriber related shortcodes, the tool generates this: [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]. In other words the shortcode generated by the tool has a space character before and after the “|” character separating the shortcode and its default value.

I just deleted those spaces and everything works fine.

So the issue in not the shortcodes, but the tool generating them in the text editor tool bar.

Since it’s another topic, I’ll create another one in the support forum

Sorry, I incidentally read in a forum discussion that those links do not work when a preview of the e-mail is being sent to a specific email address.

Notwithstanding the fact that this might be better documented, I’m not sure this is a good feature, since sending the email preview to the email designer’s address is meant to test everything on the newsletter before its massive mailing.

Anyhow, this remark may not hide the fabulous work you did in developing Mailpoet 3. Many thanks for that !

To ThemeSumo: unfortunately the WordPress settings> General date format chosen doesn’t change the date format in the theme header area.

I have the same problem each time the [start-date] or [end-date] tag is used in the event template. The date appears in English although all the rest is in French.

In the meantime I use the attribute format=”d/m/y” to avoid language problem. Within the event template, the date appears then like 30/09/16

Please look at this page

Both the right column widget and the calendar on main page show the event “Week-end de l’entraide” from Friday 27 till Monday 30, although on the Google calendar this multi-days all-day event goes from Saterady 28 till Sunday 29.

Hence the actual problem is double: (1) the multi-days all-day event is reported one day earlier than on the Google Calendar. (2) although not reported that last day in list with ‘Expand multi-day events’ set to Yes, the [end-date] tag displays a day after the last day.

Updating to 3.0.1 lets me get my previous feed back. One problem solved. Thanks for that.

I had of course to modify all of them because the appearance is not as before. 3 suggestions to improve the latest version:
–widget: how to display several calendars in it ?
–how to get rid of the title (e.g. “Nov-Dec”) in the list format ?
–list format is much less compact because a double line space before and after the description field is automatically placed. Can we modify this ?

Anyhow, many thanks for your quick reaction to my main upgrade problem: getting rid of all our feeds

Exactly, after update from 2.4 to 3.0, all previous feeds and settings, including API key are gone. Have to redo it all.

How can we get all of this back ?
