I’m experiencing the same issue on upmytech.com … I was able to connect Twitter & LinkedIn just fine and the automatic posting is working as it should. But I have the exact issue OP describes. Seems to go thru every step just fine, but the very last step is where it gives the error:
1) Click Connect (on the Facebook line)
2) Continue as (Me) pop up window – Log in With Facebook (clicked Continue)
3) What Pages do you want to use with WordPress? I have 2, I choose Up My Tech.
4) Click Done (Manage your Pages…)
5) You’ve now linked WordPress to Facebook (click OK)
6) Another pop-up “Connecting Facebook” … “Is this the account you’d like to connect?”… Shows Up My Tech … I click Connect button.
7) Pop up goes away and a few seconds later, There’s a red exclamation with “An error occurred while connecting the account.”
… I’ve done everything I can think of to resolve it for the past few days.
I sure hope someone can help!
