This plugin depends on WP Tao. If WP Tao not recognixe returning user (e.g. because of use othe device), the OTO wil be displayed.

It’s only one, even not ver slow query. It’s npt the source of problem. Can you please deliver us more info e.g. list of installed plugin, name of the theme etc., PHP version?

The bot protection is already implemented. Look at the code.
