I can confirm that updating to the latest versions today caused no problems; everyhitng seems to be working well.

Summary:
The Events Calendar 6.0.1.1 (free) works with Event tickets 5.5.1 (free)

Just tested this release and I get exactly the same error I had when updating 4 weeks ago:
