In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import broken with version 4.6.1Hi.
I improved my script to replace the “/” by a “-” in the start date and the end date columns and now, it looks like the importation is full and correct. I’m pretty sure that something has changed somewhere and at some point because the imported CSV file is the same than the one I used when I was still using version 4.5 of the plugin (but also a previous version of WordPress). Let’s consider that the topic is now closed !

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import broken with version 4.6.1Hi.
The version 4.6.6 does not fix the 4.6.x issue with the CSV import.
Here is the most basic example possible :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l8a95zkepwodvkf/calendar-events-converted-14.csv?dl=0
2 events.
The preview of the 2 events is correct but once imported, these 2 events start and end January 1, 1970.
The issue is reproductible on 2 different websites.

I can’t test because the main CSV import issue is not fixed :

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import broken with version 4.6.1Hi.
The version 4.6.4 does not fix the 4.6.x issue with the CSV import.
Here is the most basic example possible :

2 events.

Do you still expect that it is not an issue with the plug-in ?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Missing basic functionsHi.
Yes for sure.
I would like that a developer tries to import in his own known good environment the file provided in the following thread : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/csv-import-broken-with-version-4-6-1/#post-9666712
I’m not able to check if any other issues have been fixed until this main isn’t fixed or at least I know what has changed recently in the plugin so the same import file now generates buggy events.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import broken with version 4.6.1Hi. As at least one guy here has the same issue and that the issue rose with a particular version of the plugin, wouldn’t have it be nice to import the file provided in the thread with your development environnement just to check ? Do you think that a plugin conflict may make a one day imported event being exactly a one month event whereas the first events provided in the sample before the importation are clearly ok ? Best regards.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Missing basic functionsHi.
It seems that issue #3 should be fixed :
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-event-calendar-plugin-google-map-show-showing-up/
I will be able to check that as soon as issue #2 (CSV import broken with version 4.6.1) is fixed.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Missing basic functionsHi Barry.
The basic functionalities that are broken for a long time are here :
Wrong duration for iCal exported event :
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wrong-duration-for-ical-exported-event/#post-9557233
CSV import broken with version 4.6.1
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/csv-import-broken-with-version-4-6-1/#post-9570436
CSV Imports do not respect “SHOW MAP LINK?” and “SHOW MAP?” values
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/csv-imports-do-not-respect-show-map-link-and-show-map-values/#post-9594821
And I omit the compatibility with WPML because the issues obviously can’t be linked to your plugin only.
And as feature requests :
– I would suggest the possibility to have an option to tell that the actual CSV import flushes the entire bunch of events imported by the previous CSV import. To upgrade easier the events that have been cancelled since the last import and to be able to flush all the events that the plugin didn’t import correctly due to a bug
– we may have the possibility to declare one single event for instance with a duration of 8 days that begins on monday week 1 and ends on wednesday week 2 telling that the saturday and sunday (or other days) are “off” (so the attendees don’t have the idea that the event also occurs on these two days) ; this one is a lot more tricky and does not exist even in the paid version.
I hope that you see better what I mean by basic functions for a calendar.
Best regards.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import not mapping google map linksHi András.
Unfortunately, that is not the only part of the csv import which is actually buggy. And that is the only part which has a known workaround.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar issues using WPML pluginHi.
Unfortunately, uou may not waste too much time on this topic. I personnaly gave up using this plugin and WPML on one’s basic website. For years, issues were rising with any plugin updates and the support of one’s plugin always told that it was the fault of the other plugin. I stopped the game.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] The Event Calendar Plugin: Google Map Show Showing UpHi.
Just to be sure, put the following code in your theme’s functions.php file.
Best regards.//
// Your code goes below
///**
* Causes calendar to always show Google Map and Link, regardless of individual event settings
*/add_filter( ‘tribe_embed_google_map’, ‘__return_true’ );
add_filter( ‘tribe_show_google_map_link’, ‘__return_true’ );Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] CSV import not mapping google map linksHi.
Both the CSV import and the map linking are broken for a long time.
Put the following code in your theme’s functions.php file.
This is not a fix but a workaround.
