In reply to: [OneSignal - Web Push Notifications] Way too complicatedAfter I did it today finally, it is not that complicated. Just need to know how to use Google Developer and configure the main three browsers Chrome, Firefox and Safari and you are good to go.

In reply to: [OneSignal - Web Push Notifications] OneSignal is malwareThis guy is just a complainer and does not know what this actually does. It isn’t malware just because you allow notifications. How stupid can you be?

In reply to: [Wordpress Member Navbar] Simple. Easy to use. Does exactly what I want! This does nothing at all for me. I thought I could make a dashboard link and new post in menu and hide from guest but there is nothing at all to even do this with this plugin. I tried to change my review but I guess it is too recent to do that. Good you are having luck with it but does nothing for me.

In reply to: buddyPress vs Users ultra, which to choose?@eslam Yosef you found something better but don’t care to even share what it is. How nice of you. NOT!
I am debating what to use. I been using buddypress for long time but really basic styling and theme author won’t do any nice styling for it. I tried Ultimate Member and it won’t do what buddypress does unless I pay for the extensions which are expensive.
Users Ultra, I tried once and was told by them that it was always going to stay only free plugin but they lied and there is a limited free and paid pro version. So not using that either. I am not made out of money and the free option is just old looking from the 90’s buddypress.
Peepso is even paying for certain features. UserPro is a paid plugin and User Profiles Made Easy is Paid plugin. So not really a easy choice here unless you are made out of money.
The support on WordPress, buddypress, and bbPress, pretty much sucks if you want to request features. They turn your request down on the first reply and close the thread. I can’t stand the forums on these sites. I even had Paul on buddypress say to me that they close old threads and never the new ones.
I see new threads closed all the time on these sites with no answer or resolution and I even had two of mine not closed that were resolved or done with.
Not much reasoning on WordPress, buddypress, and bbPress forums.
Sorry, I did not help on which one but if I can’t get one that works right for free then I can’t recommend one to someone else.

In reply to: [Content.ad] Plug-In Doesn't WorkEspecially, if you have a theme like mine on the website (Newsmage by TagDiv). It has built in ad placement. So all I have to do is add the JS codes.

In reply to: [Community by PeepSo - Download from PeepSo.com] Not exactly as promisedUmmm, I don’t considered paid products a comparison to BuddyPress myself. Paid is paid and free is free. Saying one thing and meaning another is not right either. So I would agree with him. Just another Ultimate Member way of trying to make money off the people that want a member community site. I will stick with BuddyPress.

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Lower icon in menuWell, thought I would try it again and still the icon sits up too high. I used another plugin for the home icon, but messed up other plugins. So I stopped using any icons for a while and still would like to see without text the icon to be centered and in the middle of menu item, but since no one is even going to bother responding to this after a months time. I guess I will just have to keep searching for another alternative.
The theme author recommends this plugin, but I don’t think so since I can’t get the icon to look in the right place.

In reply to: [Social Login] 1.2 sec load time. on every pageThat is slow? What do you have on your website? Nothing? The fastest I have ever seen a WordPress site is 1.3 seconds. Geez, some people. 1 star for that.

In reply to: [Zero Spam for WordPress] Conflict with Gravity FormsI just tested my Gravity Forms contact page and nothing as issues happened. I switched from CF7 to Gravity Forms, because I was getting a lot of spam from CF7.
I am not getting anything from Gravity Forms for spam. Stopping spam better with Gravity Forms.
That was 3 months ago about a new release. It hasn’t been updated since December 2014. I moved to Gravity Forms. So far no spam from Gravity Forms with this plugin, but BuddyPress registration spam has started to get more now.
Still great plugin, but people just register and advertise their profile on BuddyPress. Sorry, if this sounds mean, but anyone found advertising their profile or email I search Google and find it on Boyscout or Cleantalk or Stop Forum Spam listed for the email registered with. I deleted there account, no questions asked.
Not going to give them even one chance to spam the website. So if this plugin gets too far behind and I end up with more of this, then I might move to another one.
I rather have no members sign up than have a lot of spam members on the website.
I just read the developer about support, and he is just one man. I don’t know how you expect one man to respond that quickly. For one person and getting a lot of support questions could take a lot of time, and if he is working a normal job too, that means he can’t be answering 24/7. I am with the developer to be patient.
