never mind, fixed it. it was in index.php

My theme doesn’t have category.php file.

However, I found category.php and category-template.php in my wp-includes.

I couldn’t find the the_content line in any of those.

What should I do now?

would it be possible to have an alternative upgrade file that utilizes cURL instead of file_get_contents()? A lot of hosts disable external file access due to security reasons?
(ex: Dreamhost) This would solve the problem for everyone.

I tried using “exclude” command to eliminate that link, but all it did was mess up the order and display sub-pages too.
Also, static page ID is 5, but it doesn’t have a link for it uses Home as default link. How do I eliminate that annoying Welcome to Viktorix link and keep Home?

Didn’t know about the feature. Ok, now I’m using built-in static home page. BUT I still get the same problem, I get an extra link from that extra page, which should be Home page.

Yes, but Static Home Page plugin supposed to hide link from navigation bar and use Home link instead. That’s what it did until I upgraded to new WP version.

My web host provides automatic upgrade, it backs up the whole blog as it is into a new temp domain in case something goes wrong. After it finishes upgrading, about 5 min, I just replace new plug-in folder and theme folder with old stuff. My blog looks as good as it was before. No problems. And it took me less then 10 min.
