But meanwhile I did something easier but lengthy.

I copied DB of my new-site (www.new-site.old-site.com) and then renamed it. Then I copied all the stuff from that directory to the root directory of my old site. and then copied the DB (with the replacements in SQL as new-site.old-site.com -> oldsite.com/newsite) to that new folder I created.

?? it worked.

But do you have any Video tutorials in mind. I have seen screencasts of nettuts+ and chris coyier. Anything else then that ?

I also did change ol to ul in settings, but the result is still uneffected. Any other way ?

And I want to post a poll in that fashion daily, so is there any dynamic shortcode like where I can assign shortcode with the poll number to fetch that specific poll.

Ex: like I make a poll named “abc” and wants to show in the post. then what would be the shortcode to fetch it.

You are right.
I also read Fb’s documentation and there is also no mentioning of any such thing.

But I can clearly recall a post somewhere on web which explained how the share button (on that post AddThis’s FB Share button was used) is summing up the Likes + Shares + Comments and showing the total in the counter. I guess, it would be some old news, right ?

And those Likes + Shares + Comments total was fetched from Fb Fan Page and the counter on the website was showing that total.

Example: Post titled “ABC” was posted on a website, then it’s URL was shared on the website’s Facebook Fan Page. Now, if that entry on Fb Fanpage gets 2 Likes, 3 shares and 5 comments; then the share button on the website would show 10 (2+3+5).

Just let me know if it’s possible, or am dreaming !

@ alchymyth – Sir, I believe this could be the case, as I have not used w3tc from a very long time. But have installed it. Do I have to use it time to time, to remove cached files ?

the problem is not on all client machines, its working fine on some. Means on clicking to page 2 or Next Page, it redirecting them to the posts of 26th February.

But on some, its redirecting them to 16th feb 2012 posts.

I have tested it on 10 computers, its giving this issue in 7 of them.

I have cleared cache and temp files of all. ??
