    I’ve now increased suhosin.post.max_vars and suhosin.request.max_vars to 2500 – makes no difference…

    (@valalerie)

    These are the Suhosin settings of the website:

    suhosin.post.max_array_index_length = 256
    suhosin.post.max_totalname_length = 65535
    suhosin.post.max_vars = 1024
    suhosin.request.max_array_index_length = 256
    suhosin.request.max_totalname_length = 65535
    suhosin.request.max_vars = 1024

    I thought they were already quite high….how high would you recommend to go?

    Thanks!!

    I also just downloaded the website and database again and uploaded everything to a different host and it all worked again..so it’s definitely to do with the host. Any idea what I could ask them to do to get everything working?

    I was thinking maybe it’s got something to do with the permissions? Any ideas?

    Hi Ines,

    I’ve deactivated all plugins except for WooCommerce and activated the 2016 WP theme and it made no difference whatsoever…variation updates are still not saving..

    It all worked fine on my test server and stopped working when I moved the site to the current host. Could it be an issue with the hosting company?…

    (@valalerie)

    have installed and activated it and then tried changing the variations again but it made no difference at all ??

    Thread Starter valalerie

    (@valalerie)

    the cancellation issue has been solved THANKS

    BUT the variation issue still persists. I’ve already disabled all plugins and no change.

    This is what the host replied in regards to the max_input_vars:

    ‘I have increased the max_input_vars to 2500. But the issue still persists. I suggest to you to contact Wocommerce support once again regarding this. The domain is currently using 5.6 PHP version.’

    Any other ideas?

    There’s a note saying this:

    ‘Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled.’

    Where can I edit that ‘time limit’?

    Also, any more ideas as to why the variations aren’t saving?
    All plugins as well as the theme and wordpress are up to date. I also tried it with the WordPress 2016 theme to see if it’s a theme issue but that didn’t make any difference at all…

    THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP SO FAR!!

    I checked the system status and all is good there, we also don’t have an issue that the orders aren’t updating but that they are cancelling without us wanting them to… ??

    The rest of the tests to do all check out

    I ran the test and this is the result:

    TLS 1.2 Enabled
    Your site should work fine when making calls to gateways and APIs that require TLS 1.2. You may still want to consider the actions below to secure your site as much as possible.

    Hi again,

    I just heard back from the host and they said:

    ‘I have checked the server and also tested the openssl TLSv1.2 connection and ensured that server supports the same and is working fine.’

    Any other ideas?…

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for your help!

    I have forwarded the suggestion re the cancellations to the host and hope they will resolve this issue.

    Re the variations, I did a new variation with only one attribute and added a new product assigning only this one variation/attribute to it but it still won’t save ??
    I have tried making the changes and updating the whole product as well as making the changes and only clicking ‘Save changes’ in the variations section.

    Hi Mike,

    The host amended the Suhosin settings for us but the variations are still not saving…

    I have also tried turning all plugins on and off, re-installing the theme as well as WooCommerce, I’ve downloaded the site from the test server and uploaded everything again (in case something went wrong with the transfer) and I created new attributes in case the old ones were the issue but nothing helped…
    The variation settings still won’t save ??

    In addition to this, for some reason every order that comes in gets cancelled straight away…It only gets cancelled on the shop side though, the client is still paying for it etc and there is no option for the client to cancel their order via the website..

    I hope you can help!
    THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

    Hi Mike,

    The website is allaboutheidi.com.au and the test site was on heidi.valerism.com

    I just wanted to submit the ticket to WooThemes but they won’t let me since I’m not a paying customer and WooCommerce is free…

    I have now tried to add a new product to see if the issue was with the old products and now it won’t even let me add prices to the variations resulting in the product not even showing up…
    Basically whatever I change in the individual variations gets lost as soon as I hit save. When I do the same in the test environment it all works fine..could that be an issue with the host of the live website?

    Thanks for your help!!!
