In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] cerber_groove cookie purposeCould you please be more specific? According to GDPR in our Cookies Declaration document we need a description for each cookie:
cerber_groove
cerber_groove_x_Thank you!
And one more thing: all consents must be logged
Obtaining clear and unambiguous consent in advance of collecting personal data is mandatory. Implied consent and consent given simply by visiting a site is not enough!!!
We need a consent for the Privacy Policy on all forms that collect personal data:
– on the new user registration form on My Account page
– contact form, comments form, product reviews form
– on the checkout form next to the Terms and Conditions checkboxWhen we update our Privacy Policy the users must be informed and asked for a re-consent.
Every 12 months, the consent should be renewed upon the user’s first visit to the site.
Sorry, my question was not clear enough.
When you register you give (at least) your email address. So you should agree to the Privacy Policy first. So you need a checkbox on the Subscription Form / Checkout form, saying I agree with the Privacy Policy. How can we do this with your plugin? From a GDPR point of view – encrypting the backup files would be a good idea.
At least you could create password protected zip files, I think. Could that be possible?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The GDPR Framework By Data443] The consent is not saved (Contact Form 7)I was using PHP 5.6.36 but after your reply I switched to PHP 7.1.17
Now the consent is saved, I can see it in the “Edit User” page, in the “GDPR Data
Consents given” section, as expected.Thank you so much for your help!

In reply to: [GDPR] Link between consent and the Privacy Policy versionCorrect, users should be careful enough to not delete their privacy policy page versions, it’s in their best interest.
What they could do is intentionally modifying an already accepted Privacy Policy version and this is something that should be avoided.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GDPR] Link between consent and the Privacy Policy versionI think one possibility would be to save all new versions of the Privacy Policy in a folder (I mean the versions for which I must ask users for explicit consent again).
Then each user-consent saved in the db will contain also a link to the accepted version of the Privacy Policy.
(In this way I would avoid saving the same Privacy Policy text in the db with each consent)
Ok, but the Privacy Policy versions should not be modified or deleted! So how could we avoid this? So should we still save the Privacy Policy text together with the consent in the db in an encrypted table? Probably, even if it would become a big table. I still have to think what would be the best solution.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GDPR] Can not find the encrypted file inside the plugin folderExcellent, thank you!

In reply to: [Groups] Created Post should automatically assigned to registered groupHi Kento,
I have to restrict the visibility of a Post only to members of the Group of the current user. So how could I get the Group ID(s) of the user creating the post? (the currently logged-in user)Thank you
Thank you for your answer Gioni!
I forced tables upgrade as you advised, but some database errors resulted, like duplicate columns.
So I had to uninstall and then reinstall the plugin. Now everything is in order, no more errors in php_errorlog.Hi Steph, thank you for your answer!
What I was looking for, the stars rating control on a feedback form, can be seen now here, at the bottom of the page https://stillmarc.ro/categorie-produs/pantofi-mireasa/
My initial solution was Ninja Forms, that includes by default a star rating control, but this control conflicts with the UX Flatsome theme I’m using. (only when used with Flatsome it displays numbers instead of stars and I couldn’t find its root cause yet)
Then I discovered a good solution that, as you can see, works perfectly with UX Flatsome theme: Contact Form 7 with “Contact Form 7 Star Rating with font Awersome” plugin.
Anyway your plugin seems interesting to me, so I will give it a try these days, to discover its powers ??
(and it also reminds me of Fila logo)Thank you
