Further to my above post, “sitename/terms/2025” is redirecting to “sitename/terms” – that’s causing the issue. I think the redirect must have happened during the rewrite/republish?

I rewrote and republished a post, ”let’s call it “sitename/terms”. Then my client wanted me to revert to the original version but keep and rename the new, republished version. So I made a new draft (not another rewrite/republish) of the republished post, and tried to rename “sitename/terms/2025” as he wanted, but there is -2 appended -“sitename/terms/2025-2”. I can’t change it, it keeps reverting. No other posts have the same slug.

Hi John, I understand what you’re saying but in Settings > General both URLs already point to https. Not sure where else to find the inconsistency. Any tips? I’ve never had a problem updating the plugin before.

My typo, yes WP-DBManager is what I meant. Thanks for your response. I will go back to the web host to see if they can figure out the issue.

Thank you. I thought it was the cache but couldn’t get it to clear so I wondered if it was something else. But 24 hours later, it cleared. So definitely the cache. Thanks for your quick response. I’ll have to deal with the cache plugin/host to see if I can get it to clear faster.

Thanks Jess. I’ve come to realize that the autocomplete=”off” is html attribute and not possible do use CSS. Would I be able to add it as custom html in the Fancy Fields section?

I see from other forums that the general format is <input name=”q” type=”text” autocomplete=”off”/> but I’m not sure if I need to use all that or just put <autocomplete=”off”/> in the custom area??

Does the “Basic” paid version include custom HTML or would I need “Pro”? I don’t see Custom HTML listed in the comparison chart.

I might have to, as AIOWPS works great with every other of my sites and plugins don’t appear to be the issue. Thanks for trying to help.

Hi. There are no errors relating to wp-config.php or AIOWSP in the error logs. Have had no problem backing up the .htaccess and database, just the wp-config.php, but I don’t want to configure the plugin without this backup. I think it may have to do with my theme for some reason. Another option would be for me to make a manual backup and move on? I do have full site backup via another plugin. Thanks

I disabled the other plugins and tried again, but unfortunately it still didn’t create a backup. (Once again went to a “page not found” on my site.) Plugin files under AIOWPS login say “Log file is empty!” for security log and chron job log.

Hi, Yes the wp-config.php file shows on the Filesystem Security tab and permissions are set to 644.

I did have an .htaccess file but realized I needed another in the directory where WP is installed. I uploaded a new .htaccess file and now the Filesystem security shows Permissions are set. The file correctly backed up.

One more thing related to the search results. It’s showing an excerpt for password protected pages. My understanding is that by default it’s not supposed to, so I don’t know why it’s showing.
The code inspector shows:
