This issue is not caused by the plugin. The error message comes from OpenAI, a service that is not affiliated with us. If you choose to use OpenAI API services for AI Engine, you will need to fund your account; otherwise, this message will appear.

Please note that you can use other providers, like OpenRouter, which offers free to use models, if you don’t want to pay for usage.

Are you able to see the gallery at all, or is it not showing in the editor? If the gallery is displaying but the layout doesn’t change regardless of what you select, it could be because you’re using the Gutenberg plugin, which is the development plugin for the block editor. This can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior. If that’s the case, could you please try temporarily disabling the plugin to see if that resolves the issue, using the regular Gutenberg Editor? The speed at which the processes are completed depends on two factors: your server speed and the advanced settings. Make sure you have the correct settings and that the delay is set to 0. You can also increase the settings slightly above the recommended values. If you prefer, you can manually remove all the files, which might be faster but is riskier, so ensure you have a backup if you choose this method. Thanks!

If the issue appears to happen randomly, with no errors in your PHP logs and no reliable way to replicate it, it’s probably not directly related to the plugin, and unfortunately, it won’t be something we can fix on our side. The attachment_fields_to_save filter is used to modify the associated data of images. When triggered within the Media Renamer plugin, it initiates renaming based on the automatic method you have selected. However, at this stage, the data might not be sufficient to apply the auto-renaming method. Only after you update your posts will the event be triggered a second time to ensure the media is renamed correctly. You can try using the “force rename” option to bypass this, but it’s not recommended.

I’ve tried to replicate your issue with the latest version of the plugin but couldn’t. All media, including the scaled ones, seems to be displaying correctly. To ensure your media is appearing without any filters, make sure the post type is set to “attachment” and the mime type is “image.”

When scaled images are displayed in the dashboard, the “scaled” keyword won’t show up because it’s not part of the image permalink. So, double-check that the image isn’t actually present, even if it’s not showing as you’d expect.

WordPress’s WP_Image_Editor_GD and WP_Image_Editor_Imagick should handle transparency correctly by default. Since we are using WordPress’s abstraction, manual handling of Alpha isn’t necessary unless there’s a bug in the version of WordPress you’re using.

I’ve tested with the latest version of WordPress, and PNG retina images seem to be generated with alpha transparency as expected.

The code uses wp_get_image_editor to retrieve your default image editor, so please ensure you are using the one you prefer, whether it’s GD or Imagick. Thanks!

Perfect Images is designed to better handle WordPress sizes and optimize your images. If you want to clean your media library and remove residual thumbnails, please use Media Cleaner. We prefer to keep each plugin specialized for its specific purpose, rather than having all features in one place. Note that when regenerating thumbnails, if some are from a deleted size, they will be removed during the process and marked in red in the dashboard. Thanks!
