I exchanged it with the absolute URL (https://www.after8tcdsb.com/wp-blog-header.php) and it didn’t work. Should there be any code before the require in the header or anything? Also, if I put this in the beginning of a document, and then afterwards asked for it to call the code from header.php and footer.php, should it realistically work?

The dialog box is a file named “answer.php” which isn’t recognized by WordPress at all. I just need to figure out how to make whatever strings and PHP I use in there (all that relate to WordPress) actually function and not wonder where I came up with these functions.

Hey Michael thanks for the response. If you look at the site now it shows the error. Essentially, I copied the same code I have in my header.php file and included what you’ve given me as well in the body of the document, and I get an error… It doesn’t know what to do with the PHP functions I’ve put there. Is there something I’m supposed to include for the page to look for the functions in? If I use the same code on a template page (e.g. index.php) everything works fine.

BUMP Really need to know how to do this, I need to get the information from media in the library (such as image name, caption, height and width) – how would I go about doing this?

Found it: Had show_count=1 in there for some reason. Took it out and it worked just fine. ??

Might work out the way I want, actually. Is there anything else like a plug-in for it? Because I don’t want there to be a blank author page (the bio info for a person is null when you first start an account).

I could be missing something but all I see is the_author_posts_link which shows you all the author’s previous posts… Handy, but still not what I’m looking for. :S

Yeah, I was looking at threaded comments but it looked kind of funny and didn’t know if it was something that would work… thanks for the suggestion (I got the other plug-in already)!
