Could you tell us some more about the WP environment you are using?
PHP version, WP core version, Theme.
We set a cookie once consent has been given by the user. “*-wpgdprc-consent-*” which contains all data about the given consents and if they are accepted or have been declined.
Watch out tho. The first number is for which site in a multisite installation the cookie is (in a single site it will always be 1) and every time a change is made to one of the data processors the second number in the cookie name is upped one to force all users to view the consent again!

Just updated to 1.10.2 and can confirm the “Load Extendify template library” option under Settings > Redux > Templates is enabled by default.
This update also seems to add four page templates (Extendify Template, Redux Contained, Redux Full Width and Redux Canvas) that can’t be disabled.

What I understand from your issue is that even with ALL plugins disabled the box still shows, correct? If our plugin is not active but the checkbox still shows it sounds to me that the box is added by your theme or some other service. Is the text used you configured in our plugin to display next to the checkbox or is it something else?
Hi,
When Our plugin tries to set the cookie via a rest request to the server it gets blocked by sucuri website firewall with the message ”
This page you are trying to visit is protected by invisible captcha. Please click on the button below before you are allowed to proceed.
ERROR: The reCAPTCHA wasn’t entered correctly. Please try again. (reCAPTCHA said: { “success”: false, “error-codes”: [ “invalid-input-response” ] })
”
Try to exclude https://www.cosmichrome.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php from the service other wise the plugin can not function properly.
Our plugin does not have any composer dependencies.
This message appears to be from the ‘gdpr-framework’ plugin which is not this plugin. Please reach out to the plugin developers of gdpr-framework for help.

Van ons.Hi @patriquin,
We are very sorry to hear you are having issues with the plugin. However we were not able to recreate this issue. Have you tried disabling all other plugins and switching to one of the default WordPress themes? The problem most likely has to do with another plugin.
Cheers,

@lalutotale Always make a backup before updating or turning plugins on/off just to be sure. A lot of hosting companies also provide temporary staging environments for this purpose.
Turning on Free WP GDPR Consent Plugin shouldn’t cause issues by itself but a conflict with other plugins or a theme is always a possibility.
The Consent Plugin doesn’t affect the “post a comment” button.
