  • I’m having the same trouble. The funny thing is, I have a second domain just forwarding to my main domain and that left sidebar shows fine when I open that on an iPad2. But my main domain gives me no sidebar.

I tried the fix as both a child theme and then in the main header.php after it didn’t work. That was no good either.

Here’s my main domain (no sidebar)
    digikoku.com

and here’s the forwarded domain (sidebar shows, looks great)
    markaldred.com

Anybody know why they are giving different results, or why the fix isn’t working for me?

    Thanks

    Thanks.

I’m not bothered about showing the Archive widget, but I’d like to have the calendar. I think I have two problems. First, the calendar is highlighting days that contain only posts from excluded categories. Second, the blank white pages. It looks like they’re showing even if I click calendar days that contain posts from non-excluded categories, so I must have an error somewhere.

I’m a WordPress beginner and to be honest I’m not sure where to start with your suggestions. I’ll have to do a little studying.

    Thanks for the help.

So it’s easier to just leave WordPress in its own directory, and follow the instructions ‘Using a pre-existing subdirectory install’? That’s what I’ll do then.

    Thanks for the help

    Thanks.
Those instructions appear to be for people who want to keep the WordPress files in a subfolder but have the blog exist in the root. I don’t mind moving everything out into the root. Is that going to cause problems?

    Thanks

Thanks. I’ll check out the link.

I promise, I tried setting ‘full text’ multiple times, and it had no effect at all. It *did* give me full text – but no image link in the ‘encoded’ tag. Then I installed MU and there was no problem getting the image link.

    Thanks

    Hi moshu. Thanks.

I installed WordPressME 2.1.3, but this didn’t give me image links in the ‘encoded’ tag. I followed the installation instructions to the T, but the image links were absent from the XML. Is there some edit that’s necessary to include them?

I don’t need rss2html in PHP? How would I do this? Could you point me in the direction of some samples, links?

    Thanks
