In reply to: 404 error on new postsCheck your permalinks are on or off. And check the links that are being generated for each post/page. Personally I don’t think this is an .htaccess issue, and could possibly be realated to your host provider and or server.
Cheers,

In reply to: Media Upload Error on WP 3.5.1I have had this and tested for days with 3.4 vs 3.5 and several different hosts, and have concluded that 3.5 uploading uses tons of processes on your server. In most cases your hosts server will have a number of process limit, in my case 25. Using 3.5 and after uploading 2 images, my server processes were maxed out, and it was giving ‘http eror’ and breaking my site and slowing down my server. I tried the same thing on a different host company and it worked fine. So some hosts dont like the way they built the 3.5 uploading?

In reply to: unable to load images to mediaTons of people are havin this same issue.
I posted about this issue but yesterday nobody answered, and maybe for the more techy guys in here it will make more sense….Wordpress 3.5 image uploading takes WAY TOO MANY PROCESSES, and is probably maxed out your hosts processes limits.. I have a VPS hosting account that has a max “number of processes” of 25.
Using a fresh 3.5 or 3.5.1 install. While uploading images I am getting a huge number of processes, and after 2 images my server has reached the max number of processes and the upload gets an “http error”. I know this because as I uploaded images I constantly monitored my server stats. So to test this I made a fresh 3.4 install. I again tried to upload a few images, and this time I uploaded 15 images(at once) with no problems (my server stats didn’t even move). So I tried this same thing a shared free server with different hosting company. The image uploads from 3.5 worked fine.So it seems that the issue is the image uploading of 3.5 with my server?
My hosing company is not being of any help to me so I am reaching out to see if anyone has experienced these kinds of issues also?
Thanks in advance,

In reply to: Home page cssNo, thats actually how i was able to work around it. If i name it something else, and assign it the “static front-page” it will work fine.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Home page cssthis time around it happens to be the Twenty Eleven. But it happens with other themes too. When I create a page called “home” and set it has the “static front-page” it looses the formatting of the rest of my pages.
