In reply to: [Happy Addons for Elementor] Critical Error On Happy Elementor AddonsThank you for your reply. We’re running the latest versions of Elementor and Elementor Pro, as well as Happy Addons.
Screenshot:
https://lunarregistry.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/elementor-plugin.png
The straight version of Elementor is 3.12.0-dev4
The Pro version of Elementor is Version 3.11.0-beta3
Those aren’t the “Dev” or “Beta” versions – those are the current downloads from Elementor.
I have NONE of the Beta, Dev or Advanced features activated in Elementor.
I have cleared the cache probably 8,000 times over the past three days.
So, to be clear, when I get this message:
Error Details
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 136 of the file wp-content/plugins/happy-elementor-addons/base/widget-base.php.
Error message: Access level to Happy_Addons\Elementor\Widget\Base::add_inline_editing_attributes() must be public (as in class Elementor\Widget_Base)
…it looks to me like a problem in the Happy Addons code – but you’re saying it’s because the versions of Elementor I’m running are wrong?
I appreciate your help!

In reply to: [Happy Addons for Elementor] excelente pluggin@anowerhossain16 – How about answering a few of the support inquiries in the forum?
I have posted three times in the support forum over the past few days and tried to contact you via your website – not a single reply or even an acknowledgement.
You can get a hundred positive reviews, but as long as my client’s website is down because of Happy Addons, you won’t get one from me.

In reply to: [Happy Addons for Elementor] One Star For Slow SupportWe’re now on day three of waiting for any acknowledgement of an issue. The “Happy” people have a chatbot “function” on their website, but after you enter the information it essentially tells you that there’s nobody home and they’ll contact you via email.
Three days. Not even a peep from these guys.

Do I need to edit this myself?

In reply to: [Happy Addons for Elementor] Critical Error On Happy Elementor AddonsPHP version 7.4.33 has been updated to 8.1 – still same error.
I had been running Elementor Dev (Version 1.1.1) but deactivated it. I am running Elementor Pro (Version 3.11.0-beta3).

Hardeep,
Thanks for your reply – that was exactly the issue.
I had disabled and then deleted Advanced Editor Tools (TinyMCE Advanced) and cleared the cache … but I missed that I had the Disable Gutenberg plugin loaded and active.
They are both gone now, and everything is working perfectly. Thanks to you and all the Otter People for your help!
DJThanks for your reply … but it doesn’t resolve my problem: where is the standard Otter Blocks “sidebar”? Where is the shortcut menu at the top?
I’ve been using Otter Blocks on other websites for a while – but the sidebar isn’t appearing on this page (see screenshot link above).I appreciate the links to the features and documentation, but I can’t even see the functions in WooCommerce on this particular website.
Thanks again!DJ
As the screencap in my original question can’t be enlarged, here’s a link to the full-size image:

In reply to: [Connections Business Directory] Search BarHello Steven!
Is the search function only available on the Pro or Premium templates?
We use a custom template (and don’t want to switch) but noticed that the
enable_search
code doesn’t work:[connections enable_search='TRUE']
Thank you for your help!

Are you using a proper shortcode template to add that code?
What would the “proper shortcode template” be?

In reply to: [Code Snippets] Woocommerce hooks issueDid you receive an output error message? I have been fighting this for several months and can’t figure it out – WooCommerce product pages won’t allow even simple PHP snippets to be added via shortcode without throwing an error.
Even the most common code, such as:
<?PHP echo 'Hello, World!'; ?>
– when added as a shortcode to the long and short description fields on a product creates an instant fatal error.
